So Wario tomorrow?
I'm watching Zenith and it seems that a lot of project M people are excited to play Smash 4. I think this game will be fine competitively.
Every character should be Sonic.
Oh, I know for a fact it will shoot out of the gate HUGE! But I wonder how long it will be given a chance. So many were excited to play Brawl as well.
Personally, I'll support the game as long as there's a scene to support it in (as well as Project M, and recently Melee too), but who knows what the future holds.
Final Smash: Power of PandoraLet's see...dark pit variations
Palutena bow> Silver bow
Upperdash arm> Compact arm
Guardian oribitars > eye track orbitars
Final smash...uhh underworld gate keeper?
Regarding the topic of Dark Pit:
He could be a regular alt. He could be a stage hazard. He could be a stage boss. Or, he could be playable.
Let's focus on the idea of if he were playable. How could it work?
Well, first things first, he has to be visually distinct from Pit, alt colors included. I think this can be achieved, first and foremost, through his WINGS -- Pit, and all of his alts, will always have white wings, while Dark Pit, and all of his alts, will always have black wings.
Second, take the Sonic the Hedgehog approach -- much like how Sonic and his alt colors are varying shades of blue, Dark Pit would always be "dark" by making his alt colors lighter and darker shades of black. Pit, meanwhile, could come in a whole rainbow of colors.
Beyond that, tweak the animations to reflect cockiness in Dark Pit, and add extra effects like red sparkles to Dark Pit instead of the blue sparkles we see on Pit.
Now, as for what a playable Dark Pit could offer: He'd essentially be a low-effort, Lucina-style clone that would give Sakurai the opportunity to incorporate more of the many, many wonderful weapons he created for Kid Icarus Uprising. After all, in that game, Pit encounters Dark Pit on a number of occasions, and each time Dark Pit is wielding a different weapon. Swap out Pit's Guardian Orbitars for another set of orbitars, with different properties; swap out his Upperdash Arm for another arm that handles differently; and so on.
Essentially, playable Dark Pit would be a way to represent more of the weapons from the world of Kid Icarus Uprising. There were more than 100 of them, IIRC, including some truly clever designs and effects. I'd love to hear the sickening roar of the Ogre Club, for example, a fleshy spiky club that Dark Pit uses against you in Chapter 6 of Uprising.![]()
Tomorrow Shulk assist trophy.
Tomorrow Shulk assist trophy.
What? Since when were people mad at Project M?
Final Smash: Power of Pandora
Dark Pit uses the power to make energy rain down from above. Acts exactly like the three sacred treasures.

Oh I can't wait for the K. Rool assist trophy tomorrow.
It's gospel to a majority of competitive players, which is its purpose. Casual players have Roy and Mewtwo to gain from it.I'm annoyed at how it seems to be held as a holy gospel by a very vocal minority and how stretched and skewed their 'vision' has become. But I'm not mad about it.
Ridable Rambi would be epic.Need a ridable Rambi before him tho

So Wario tomorrow?
Let's be honest with ourselves -- Dark Pit's Final Smash would probably just be the Three Sacred Treasures. "Mind if I borrow these?" would become the new "personally, I prefer the air."
Guys, Dark Pit will probably just be an alt for regular Pit. I highly doubt that he'll have a separate character slot.

But at the same time, I think it forces Sakurai and his team to try to do better than a fan modded game. I.e. Alt costumes may or may not be a direct result of Sakurai not wanting to lose to fan modelers.
I actually think Dark Pit is going to be a stage boss for Palutena's Temple.
Casuals love Roy and many would sacrifice Marth for Roy's return. Also, how is Mewtwo a Lucario prototype? They share one special move and their normals are unrelated. So the 1st clone of Marth and the less-developed prototype of Lucario? I guess some would consider that a good benefit.
Anything new revealed since the Robin/Lucina trailer?
A few stages. Takamura assist trophy.Anything new revealed since the Robin/Lucina trailer?
Anything new revealed since the Robin/Lucina trailer?
But that's no fun
Off-hand, the most notable items that come to mind are a Star Fox stage for WiiU, set atop the Great Fox from Star Fox Assault; a better look at the Tomodachi Life stage on 3DS; and the reveal of the N's Castle stage for 3DS (based on Pokémon Black and White), and Paper Mario stage for 3DS (featuring stage transitions from a Sticker Star area to a Thousand-Year Door area, and possibly more). Also, Takamaru was confirmed as an Assist Trophy, and there's a new mode combining Home Run Contest and Target Smash where you beat up on a bomb and launch it into a cluster of targets to try and destroy as much as you can.Anything new revealed since the Robin/Lucina trailer?

Didn't say it was fun, just said it's what I think is going to happen.
Seems weird to show off someone and then not talk about them if they're going to be a newcomer. Stranger things have happened though, so I won't count anything out.
Yeah who knows.Ehh... I think alt costumes are just extensions of what Wario had in Brawl. I think Wario worked out well and his system was really popular, so they tried to extend it to other characters.

A Nintendo Canada employee said Rayman was playable.
