Not that I would get involved, but how do you measure that? Its out in Mid-November the biggest (or second biggest?) sales month of the year for consoles that would happen regardless of Halo MCC coming out...

Especially with all the other games out, deals and maybe even the price cut... surely theres far too many variables to decide this on anything that will provide you with a real number?

I remember Jeff mentioning it on the E3 2014 Phil Spencer segment with Frank O Connor of 343.

There may be a 1 or two more stories I'm missing, but signs are pointing towards it.

I dont think MCC PC will happen this year but i could see it releasing Q2-Q3 2015 on PC to get PC gamers hyped for Halo 5.

Yea that is why i was wondering if it was oct or nov. nov would be harder to figure out since they will move regardless dude to the holidays.

I would love to play the HALO games, but I really don't want to buy a console to play 4 games, so this would be the best!
 
There is no way this would ever happen. MS is banking on this for the Holidays, no way they give it a PC release as well. And if they do, it'll be the most unbelievable thing ever. The only way it makes sense is if they somehow think they can get people interested in buying an X1 for Halo 5, which after playing Halo 4 isn't going to happen.

This isn't anywhere close to as probable. Microsoft has a lot to do with PCs. There have been Halo games on the PC. They have hinted towards it earlier. They wanted to find a solution for the Halo 2 servers. Halo 3 was mentioned in the Steam database once. They wanted to put more focus on PC games (even though they have said it more often). Plenty of reasons it would come.

It will happen but not right away. How will it be unbelievable if MS usually puts their games on pc?
 
Can't really see it happening, but it'd be cool if it did, it'd mean I could save money by not buying an Xbox One.

Well, no, not really, since MS actually publishes PC games whereas SCE do not.

Again, perhaps MS crunched some numbers, realised the MCC is not a major system seller and decided that a PC version will net them more revenue.
 
Amazon UK had Starfox WiiU listed as published by Ubisoft for about a month. Halo MCC on PC would be nice but i wouldn't hold my breath.

This is my thinking as well. I really don't see it releasing day and date with the Xbox One version. But giving it a period of timed exclusivity to sell systems to the most hardcore fans that can't wait, then releasing it on PC like a year later would make sense.

They could do the same with Halo 5. I'm sure it would end up being more profitable for them.
 
Wasn't there 2 years between Halo CE for Xbox and PC, and a little over 2 years between Halo 2 for Xbox and PC? I wouldn't expect MCC on PC until at least 2016.

Well, they also listed it for 360 before. There hasn't been a mainline Halo game on computers since Halo 2, and they didn't even give a damn about that port, Vista only and all. I'm fairly certain they want gamers to associate Halo with Xbox. It's the Xbox division's strongest card after all.

The Master Chief Collection is a huge incentive to pick an Xbox One. They want to get back into PC gaming, but that'll be a double edged sword, probably cannabilizing Xbone sales.

I was heavily considering it, but looked at what else there was to play and noticed a distinct lack of games that interest me.

If it's actually coming out on the PC they absolutely lost my possible XB1 sale.

In the Giantomb show he said nothing is preventing us from doing it on PC, but it's not in the works. According to some posters in this thread, usually what he says does not line up with what happens later.

Well let me reiterate, 2-3 years after the release of the mcc, yeah why not. Day one or within first year no f'in way. There's been no precedent for something like this. And where have they hinted towards the mcc on pc? And why are we even discussing an amazon uk listing without image or anything? Has any announcement ever been leaked by amazon uk?
