PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

So I have two 8GB memory cards for my Vita that are both pretty much full. My uncle got me a 32GB for my birthday. I'm backing up one of them right now as to restore onto the bigger new one, but how do I go about getting things off of the second (Since doing the same with it would just overwrite the newly restored backup)? Will I just have to re-download everything? I haven't fiddled with the Content Manage past the point of hitting "Back Up," so there may be a pretty obvious option I'm missing that allows for transferring just a few things over at a time.

Reason I ask is because of our data cap. I can't re-download 8 GBs of the same stuff without feeling kind of wasteful.

Just copy all the apps and everything to your computer from both cards using the content manager and then copy them back to your new card from your computer. That is if you don't have duplicates.

You should be able to backup your games individually. Use the "Copy Content" option.

I'm still torn between whether or not I like Vert more because of her whole 'Onee-san' thing going on, or Noire who is a tsundere voiced by Asami Imai aka 'Imagine'.

Yeah you can definitely tell that it looks a bit blurry, plus the character models and all made me think so as well. How is the game though? Would someone like me that never played game in the series enjoy this? I understand that this is the best place to start, it being the first one, and with updates to boot.

Were the DLC characters availible in Nep 1? Or are they added in rebirth maybe? Only thing I missed from Mk2 in Victory was Cave. And Iffy, a bit

Bummer. :(
PP looked so crisp at native res, but it's good to hear that it's performing well.
Edit: Some other screenshots I found looks seriously good, like, native + AA good. Maybe it's dynamic res?
Didn't only a few bosses do that? I'm pretty sure it was a boss design thing not an inherent component of Victory's combat design.
True, but it felt like the majority had it. Definitely interrupted the flow of the game for me.
I guess Atlus is having a sale as well.
P3P is $4.99
Haha, I was so happy when P3P was on sale in Europe for 50% off... and it was still the equivalent of $20. Being European is suffering.

I think a bunch of the Dangerous Foes or whatever they were called, the boss-level "normal enemies" would do it, but they were pretty optional. Dont' recall it being a big problem in the story, buti t's been a while.

Contacted PSN support to see if they could give me the difference back in credit on what I paid for FFX HD earlier today and what it costs now. Sadly, no. Hopefully they don't ban my account for asking -- I remember someone else saying they got banned for that.

If you're an Asami Imai fan, I hope you've been playing the Corpse Party series.
Blood Drive is practically an Asami Imai showcase vehicle.

Should I play Persona 3: FES or jump on P3P? I know this has been asked infinite times, but I thought I'd ask too to fit in!

There's really no great answer. FES has a ton of extra content, including a epilogue, while p3p cut a lot of content to fit on psp. However the cut content is largely incidental, the new content is good, and you can take direct control of your party. Honestly if P3P is 5 bones go with it.

I actually just bought both Corpse Party's. I actually dig VN. So I'm excited to play. Trying to beat Muramasa first.

So, is XBLAZE US only or is it going to get released sometime in the future? Did Aksys ever say anything?

There is probably an european company interested in publishing the game in Europe, since Mind Zero is available in Europe and it was released only weeks before XBlaze.

Give it some time. It's worth it, but don't get yourself burned on Persona games by going through one after the other.

Thanks, and good advice. I'm hoping it will pop up again for $5 sometime and then I will get it.

EDIT: Wow, it's actually on sale now! Guess I'll pick it up :)

Sounds good to me, thanks!

Also, Persona 2: Innocent Sin is on sale for $4.99 too (for PSP and Vita). A few people bought Eternal Punishment a few weeks back so I thought I'd mention it!

How long till you change again? I also didn't know you posted in this thread. I only ever see you in the Korra thread

The indie backlash is real folks. I can't even look at new PlayStation trailers on YouTube without seeing hundreds of comments in the vain of "What is this indie garbage? We want real games."

I'm a pretty big Vita player. I don't post that often in this thread (just because I usually wait for new releases), or after I've cleared my plate of current titles. I just beat Demon Gaze, 50% done with Soul Sacrifice Delta, and just got hooked on Muramasa.

Vita has too many good games (at least IMO). I'm tempted to start the Corpse Party series though. I only recently got into VN, and I actually dig them (well depending on the content). Seems like these are great.

That's how Youtube works. If it's an AAA game's trailer they're gonna be "PS2 graphixx" or "Xbox rulz".

Are the PS4 plus games up on the online store yet? I'm not seeing Road Not Taken.

Just got them through the PS Plus section of the store. Not sure if you're supposed to be able to save a current playthrough of Road Not Taken or what. Don't see an option for it.

See the game not getting much playtime after beating it though.

EDIT: Nvm. Apparently it's always saving or something. I excited the application and started it back up. Standing exactly where I left off.

There are tons of indie games I've enjoyed far more than "AAA" releases.

Haters gonna hate though, it's just what's bound to happen when natural selection halts due to civilization and all the morons end up getting a vote too (instead of falling off the proverbial cliff like the lemmings they are).

Yup! I found it!

Any word on when the official blog is going up?? Grace Chen??

I wouldn't take YouTube comments as proof of anything, it's like a constant competition for who can post the most senseless rant with preschool levels of logic and grammar. The numbers of people that care enough to be included in an anonymous use of 'we want' on the internet don't amount to a hill of beans.

As soon as this year's AAA autumn shooter crop is out they'll all go back to screaming at each other through silenced microphones instead, nevermind the fact that I doubt any of them were ever in favour of smaller games to begin with for there to actually be a 'backlash' in the first place.
