The only reason I'm staunchly physical is for resell value, but I don't see myself ever selling the MCC, so this will be my first ever full priced digital game! I'm excited to always have Halo on my XB1.

I haven't bought a disc for the X1, ever. bought mine at launch. But I started only buying games I was pretty certain I wanted to own and keep. The instant launch is awesome.

That reminds me, what the hell happened to the Halo MLG community? It used to be huge in the days of Halo 2 and 3, it was quite interesting following the various teams, the internal fighting and transfers. But I stopped following it just before the release of Reach.

Seriously, I recommend trying to figure out a comfortable way to do it. It improves my play a surprisingly massive amount

I've always played the game this way. Didn't even know who "Walshy" was until i looked it up a second ago. Its the best way to play imo. Being able to jump and aim is a big advantage. It's silly to take your thumb off the stick. Helps with games like TitanFall too.

It makes you dramatically change the position of your hand / fingers, which effects your dexterity in general. It's not just about where your thumb rests. If you can pull it off consistently, though, more power to you!

I tried to claw for a while and I ended up getting hand cramps. It was just too uncomfortable of a position to me but like kittens said, if you can pull it off, more power to you! All I ask is that you go easy on all of the quad-shotting if you're playing against me in Halo 2

Hm. £170 for the CE with the statue from GAME, or £53 for the LE, and €120 (~£95) for the statue separately directly from Kotobukiya. Unless difference in shipping costs adds up to over £22 or you really care about whatever giant box it comes packaged in, you're getting kinda ripped off if you buy the CE.

edit: although I just noticed that preorders are closed on the KotoEU store, so you're out of luck if you wanted that option. Ah well. I think I had my fill of crazy overpriced collector's editions back in '07 with the cat helmet. And I'd rather not buy from GAME anyway.
