Yep. Oikonny started as a member of Wolf's team in Star Fox 64, then went rogue in memory of his Uncle Andross at the start of Star Fox Assault, IIRC.
That's his Assault model for the trophy, BTW.

Blob 1. It looks a lot like the shade of purple of Other M ridley to me and I can't think of anything else that is purple like that. Blob 2, I'm pretty sure is a Kid Icarus enemy but I haven't played the game yet so I don't know most of the enemy names.Is it blob 1 or 2?

Not really. The last 10 pages of the previous thread was about the new thread, and the first five pages of this thread is more comments about "OH NEW THREAD NEW THREAD".
It's reaching twitch chat level. I mean be hype all you want but I really wish these threads were exclusively for the PotD discussions, but too often people are talking about boots, waifus and thread titles.

Here's what I'd suggest:
Switch freely between the seven main heroes. This doesn't count as a form change, since it doesn't change your attributes, merely your specials. Then, when you use those specials (the Unite Morphs), the other Wonderful Ones are represented in the form of the giant fist, the sword, etc. Remember, the morphs are translucent and you can see the people inside.
A lot of model-loading, but next system should have the power for it!
I don't know what blob 1 is, but it's definitely not Ridley. It has a dark green thing on top of it (There are no dark green bits on Ridley) and the general shape is wrong for Ridley.
Maybe it's Ridley with a New Hat

Well, often enough a separate thread is made when something noteworthy is shown in the PotD. But there's a whole lot more to talk about than just the PotD: possible characters, fake leaks, speculation, gameplay analysis from demos, etc. With such a wide variety of topics in play, the thread is bound to veer off sometimes.

Regarding spoilers, I would say avoid this thread probably a week before release date. An OT will probably go up for those GAF members in Japan or for those who've imported. But you know how SmashGAF posters are, unless a mod comes in and says no spoilers or you get banned, they're gonna post everything here as well lol

No matter our quirks--whether it be Horizon/Neiteio's borderline fetish with, respectively, Lucina/Lucina's boots, Troubled Bat's constant avatar bet losses, or my constant Skyward Sword bashing--no matter how many Ridley/Metroid: Other M argument cycles we go through, or no matter how much we endure false hope via leaks and psychic predictions, we're all in the hype together. I can say with all confidence that this is the funnest Smash community I've associated with since, well, ever. To the fall!
