Question for those eagle-eyed smash fans that can find things in the myriads of smash footage we now have -

A long time ago there was a POTD where Sakurai mentioned Link was getting a meteor smash at the tip of his sword on dair but that it would be removed if found to be too OP

I've only watched videos of his game and I've wanted him in since Brawl. I say it every time he's brought up and I'll say it again. On the old Japanese Melee Dojo Sakurai mentioned he thought of adding Sukapon but then thought he was too obscure. Come on now Sakurai! Maybe then but now times have changed! I like Brawl better than Melee generally, but god damn was that Mute City face shredding. I remember just leaving the game paused to hear it for hours.

I don't know if I agree. I think the main guitar is way better in Melee's, but those calm moments in the Brawl version are perfect... I love both of them.
