If two people were playing then the other side would have the other team. That's what I think would happen anyway.

it's still redundant, unfortunately. FIFA games have so many fucking UI and usability issues it's hard to believe it comes from a professional outfit. Menus hidden in menus hidden behind options hidden behind more menus. Horrid.

Hmm, or maybe more detailed stats if you right button click the player.

I have a problem with Alba being rated lower than Alves. Alves had a crap season while alba was the one defensive saving grace (sans a few great Bartra games). At the very least they are even

Nice to see they got the memo about Rakitic taking long frees. But I don't see Neymar taking corners over Xavi and Messi.

Mascherano won't play at CB anymore.

Pedro rightfully back down at 82, he was 86 last season when Alexis was 82. Madness. Iniesta is too high also.

Am told #mcfc paid 40 million euros all in for Mangala, including 3rd parties etc etc. (works out £31.9m based on Google currency converter)

For what it's worth.

£32m for France's 4th choice CB, with the word 'quim' in his name

What is the world coming to?

Stuff like this is never as straightforward as it seems. Deschamps for whatever reason favored Sakho, but I don't think he's shown himself to be better than Mangala or Koscielny. Look at Brazil and how Felipao managed his squad, sometimes the managers decisions can be strange. Sakho played during qualifying primarily so he was rewarded for better or for worse.

I'm happy with the signing either way.

yeah lets forget he was playing the WC injured

injured whilst, yknow, contributing a world record 17 CL goals to help Madrid win a world record 10 CLs

but yeah World Cup LOL

Ronaldo's goals in the knockout stages of the World Cup only served to turn Madrid's wins into blow outs.

In other news, Gohan was loaned to Dinamo Zagreb with an option to buy.

I'd say he was rewarded for better considering they conceded 1 goal over 3 or so games with him on the pitch iirc :p

Ouch, Drogba out for 4-6 months supposedly. Torn ligaments in his ankle according to Marca.

Whats Marca's source? Because a fake quote from a Daily Mail parody twitter account (that has the official logo) said he was out for 6 months...

Edit: Missed this post:

The rumour about Drogba started from this fake twitter account https://twitter.com/MaiISport.
Funny though seeing Arsenal fans on twitter getting all excited that they might not have to play against him.

Does the Super Cup count as part of last season's European campaign, since you don't get cup-tied by playing in it?

So annoying that the Millennium Stadium kicks Wembley's arse

"Albion have won eight & lost just two of the 11 games Saturday's referee Neil Swarbrick has officiated #wba #safc"

For a shit team that is an astonishing and suspicious statistic.

Re the Mangala deal, here's how it reportedly played out:
Porto bought Brahimi for €6,5M and 2 days later sold 80% to Doyen for €5M devaluating him slightly, essentially unofficially trading that for about 19,5% of Mangala.
this ends up at:
City spent €40M on Mangala
Doyen got €9,5M + 80% of Brahimi for only €5M
Porto got €30,5M for Mangala and pretty much lost €250k on Brahimi

You can see the percentage of the rights they own to players in their securities filings. As of March 31, 2014:

Danilo 100,0% jun-16
Herrera 80,0% jun-17
Jackson Martinez 100,0% jun-16
Quintero 50,0% jun-17
Alex Sandro 100,0% jun-16
Diego Reyes 47,5% jun-18
Defour 56,7% jun-16
Mangala 56,7% jun-16
Ghilas 50,0% jun-17
Kléber 70,0% jun-16
Iturbe 45,0% jun-16
Kelvin 75,0% jun-16
Ricardo Pereira 80,0% jun-18
Licá 60,0% jun-17
Hector Quiñones 100,0% jun-16
Maicon 100,0% jun-17
Carlos Eduardo 80,0% jun-17
Walter da Silva 15,0% jun-17

They owned 90% of James at the time of his sale because they bought back 35% @ €8.75m. They're going to make absolute bank when they sell Jackson.. since they only have 50% of Quintero, he definitely won't go on the cheap.
