Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer World Premiere Coming August 11, 2014

All the other new stuff is cool and all but I hope they've focused on building some interesting maps around all the perks, double jumps and whatnot. That's what made the original MW so special at the time. The usefulness of your attck/defence in the environments.

The trailer looks great, however, you can't look at it without mentally referencing about 3 other games (TitanFall, Crysis3 and Halo). Not bad company to be in but I hope it stands-out.

Are they dropping a demo for this?
 
Looks neat. Might grab for local couch multiplayer on PS4 when the Wii U isn't available, other local multi offerings are pretty slim.
 
curious to read through the thread, but imo, it sounds too chaotic and a balancing nightmare with killstreaks, even more powerful co-op kill streaks, air to ground melee smash, better versions of weapons unlocked via loot drops, exo power-ups recall the worst of halo's spartan abilities (camo, jet pack, hardlight shield). ugh.
 
the new game mode, the one where you have to put the satellite into the basket...

I can see my nextgen DEATHROW if there is a mode without guns (or maybe just a little handgun only)

Yep, my biggest concern right now. Otherwise looks like a ton of fun.

Because it's a presentation. It would be strange to just show trailers without context without an in-depth explanation.
 
They had me at Kevin Spacey, but this confirms it. I don't even like COD that much and i'm really excited

i suck at shooters tho :(
 
If you're going to have jumping all over the place, you got to boost up that TTK
It's ridiculous they add in all this stuff, and it looks like it is going to be like Ghosts / MW2

2 bullets to kill someone

UpLink looks like an actual sport more so than a war simulation
I expect a lot of Kobe Bryant ball hogs out there
