Captain Falcon flowchart is best flowchart.
Yeah, it's basically a 'so bad it's good' way like you said. Dan is more funny for how ineffective he is, kinda like Pichu. Waluigi is just funny for how bad his design is and how dumb the character is.
This is what I'm assuming most people are like and I can get behind that. The main reason I ask is when Mario Tennis first came out I was 9 and actually liked him as a character. As I got older, I slowly started realizing what a silly character he is (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). I just wasn't sure how many people were like younger me and find him to be a cool character. As a Waluigi fan I can attest to his appeal--he's so stupid that he wraps around the spectrum to being completely awesome.

That's an awful Waluigi voice. Like one of the worst of all time. Even Brian Sewell's natural voice sounds more like Waluigi than that. There are things like this and that which make Waluigi appealing:

I don't think Waluigi is poorly designed or bad at all. He's the Dick Dastardly-esque classic cartoon villain to Mario's Popeye-esque (well, originally) classic cartoon hero. His awkward mannerisms and appearance would be funny enough on its own, but he's always doing new, super weird hilarious stuff all the time. I just think he's funny, and the individuals developing games featuring him seem to have a lot of fun with him too.
I totally get the mentality of people who don't like him, though, because I used to dislike him too.
True enough, I guess bad design isn't quite the way to put it.I actually don't think his design is bad at all. Part of his charm is that he looks like a goofier, lanky version of Wario, and he makes a perfect rival to the equivalent second banana, Luigi.
I can kind of see that, too. It's just something about how even his name doesn't make sense. Like, with Wario it's a play on Mario and flipping the M upside down; with Waluigi, it doesn't even work on a pun level and it drives me crazy. Haha, maybe that's the point. But he just seems like a lazy design to me. More power to his fans, though, you guys seems to love him.I don't think Waluigi is poorly designed or bad at all. CoroCoro has leaked, and there isn't anything new, as expected.
EDIT: Well, there's a ton of new pics and "mini confirmations" like a Yoshi hat for the Mii Fighters.
Yeah, the voice is terrible. It is more funny because of Waluigi owning a bridal shop than anything else. That's an awful Waluigi voice. Like one of the worst of all time. Even Brian Sewell's natural voice sounds more like Waluigi than that.

Of course there are, but scans of things are generally against the GAF TOS.Anywhere I can view this?

"Warui" means bad in Japanese, and warui + Ruigi = Waruigi. The pun works a lot better in Japanese I suppose. Just a little factoid I read a while ago that I still rememberI can kind of see that, too. It's just something about how even his name doesn't make sense. Also it looks like Custom moves are part of a separate menu, not the CSS.
For fucks sake, sakurai.

Why would you think they were part of the CSS? That would be less intuitive than sticking them in their own menu.

Nah, that one's available in recent the 3DS trailer.First screen of the for glory/fun menu on the 3DS version as well.
What's CSS?

Wonder if what we have is the starting roster.
Kind of interesting then that Ice Climbers and neither Ness or Lucas are playable from the start if so...Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if what we know now is the starting roster minus the third parties.
Lame balls. I thought they would at least have new info on custom movesets. Best thing about it was that off-TV Gamepad shot. Glorious.

So that they could actually be usable in competitive play without having to slow down tournaments right the fuck down?
I mean, it's not hard to have it on the CSS after everyone has selected their character:
And I'm not even much of a UI designer.
Completely forgot about Wario. That would mean Wario. Metaknight and Ice Climbers were bumped into secret characters and Lucario, Sonic, Luigi, Toon Link and Captain Falcon were bumped to starters. I really don't see that being the case.
I know I'm opening up a can of worms here, but what is the appeal of Waluigi for most people? I don't mean that in an annoyed or "you like a dumb character" way, I'm legitimately asking.
Is it because he's so bad he's a funny troll character? Do you want him as the Dan of Smash Bros. and the various Mario spin-offs? Or do you actually find him to be a good and enjoyable character? I really want to know in what way most people are fans of him.
