I have wild fantasies about what a Cranky Kong newcomer trailer would be like.

In my kokoro heart he'd be portrayed by the guy who did him in the CG cartoon.

My POTD forecast? Tonight we get a post about the changes Meta Knight's received and we get a Ganondorf confirmation on like, Friday. Knock some socks off and all that.

I'd love all of the corny CG voices back. they're hilarious!

im playing other m right now actually! my friend let me borrow it and I don't feel like going to my bros room to play it on wii u so I play it on my pc with dolphin, besides some stuttering that it has(emulator's fault, not the game) its pretty good, mind you I'm still very early in the game. Story and cutscenes are boring and stupid as shit tho, it trys way too hard. but from a gameplay perspective I enjoy it.

I hope there's DLC so the calls for certain characters (I'll hope they have some awareness of the fanbase) can be heard.

Dixie is so logical for most of the reasons below. Except of course the last one.

To add to the case for having Dixie Kong as a guarantee on the roster,

+ Robin/Lucina reveal means decisions were always in flux and never final.
+ would be silly not to add in another DK rep especially after its resurgence.
+ planned for Brawl anyway.
+ She's always third in line after Donkey and Diddy in games (DKC, Donkey Konga, Mario Baseball, Mario Hoops, Barrel Blast, etc.).
+ Besides Tropical Freeze, she'll most likely appear alongside Diddy in Diddy Kong Racing for Wii U if the rumors are true like she did with Diddy Kong Racing DS port.
+ She was a marketing tool for Nintendo to gloat that they're more aware and focused on including female characters now (Dixie in Tropical Freeze, Peach/Rosalina in 3D World, 3 versions of Peach in MK8 lol). Not joking, their press releases literally signaled them out.
+ If all else fails, Diddy clone with new neutral and Up-B moves.
+ Sakurai might perv out again and post a pic of her in a salacious position with another female.
+ She'll be in Smash eventually. But there's no way she'll have no-name losers (Chorus Kids, Shulk, Lucina, Robin, Rosalina, Greninja), canonically irrelevant losers (Mii, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager), and losers who needed their franchises to be resurrected (Palutena, Little Mac) to get one Smash generation ahead of her.

I feel like with he ability to glide out of the game Ridleys chances are really low as a playable character and more fit for a boss type character.

In canon Charizard could fly out and Palutena is a god, so I don't think it matters that much.

I've had the craving to play Brawl for a while. And I want to play it with the Gamecube controller. Now the problem is... I stupidly did the Wii -> Wii U transfer. So is there no way to get my save file back on Wii (apart from homebrew)? Will the Wii U Gamecube adapter at least work in Wii mode?

I'm at a loss here. D:

You could get a save online unless you care about your specific trophy progress and whatnot.

I don't like philosophy around here that certain characters should be added just cause they're girls. Thats such a dumb and sexist reason. You should want a character in the game cause you like that character or they'll bring something unique to the table, not cause they're a girl, and one of the reasons to support a character you want should never be "PLUS ITS A GURL TO ADD TO THE ROSTER!!"

neither is weird. they'll be in the game, chillax. I mean really think of it this way: Why cut Wario and Ness, two characters with completely 100% unique movesets but stay with toon link?

I doubt the GC adapter would work in Wii Mode because the Wii probably isn't programmed to look for controllers in the USB ports. Unless they actually did another firmware update for the Wii, the prospects look grim.

You should always remember to backup your data if possible. It'd be terrible to lose the data forever, like some of the unfortunate souls that lost all their data completely during the transfer process.

Never did I imply that they were cut, that's ridiculous.
It's just weird that he's not officially been revealed yet when we know that Toon Link is in since almost a year ago.
