I predict some amazing sales for TLOU:Remastered, maybe even as a system seller.

It was strange seeing my entire Playstation friendslist turn into a huge TLOU lovefest on day of release.

I agree on system seller status (was there a US bundle?). I asked someone to pick this up for me and it was sold out in 2 different locations.

I think what most is expecting to see today is if Xbone sustained the sales of if June was only a flash boost due launch.

I think it's somewhere around that for NA, yeah. Maybe I'm horribly wrong. Who knows. lol

NPD has the PS4 around 3.6M up to June. It's highly unlikely that any game will sell to 1/3 of the userbase in a couple days.

It's probably around 500K +/- 100K

I'm talking about how many it's sold as of today. Not for the couple days of July NPD.

In an interview with Phil Spencer (can't cite who did the interview) - he sort of down played the significance of the monthly (defeat) numbers as "small" as opposed to what's expected come 4th quarter (holiday). Maybe a sign for today's outcome?

I predicted sub-100K because I feel last month was pent up sales from May and June combined seeing as they trumpeted the pricedrop a month in advance.

May was anemic, and june saw a bump (obviously). I think sales will slump back down as everyone on the fence about an Xbox One would have jumped in when the 399$ model entered the market.

Who knows though, the new price might have raised the sales baseline for XBO quite a bit.

I'm expecting a pretty big drop off. The price drop was early in June and was known weeks before hand. Plus it's 4 weeks this month instead of 5 for NPD.

600k still seems incredibly low. I'd be shocked if it hasn't sold over a million by this point.

It's probably slightly over a million worldwide. 600k seems pretty high for US alone.

I'd be pretty shocked if it's above 400k, tbh. Little was shared of the game till the week of release. I also suspect it had a big impact on HW.

Then again I could be very wrong, which is why I don't partake in predicting in the first place.

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
Obviously the Queen's comment is in relation to Wii U... pls let my predicitions ring true this month.

I don't think the X1 will drop significantly. The price cut must have had some effect, and if it didn't then things are worse than I'd think. It'll drop a bit due to one less week but it shouldn't drop that much

I'm live on @KCBSNews in 5 min discussing the new phone app, Humin, and why you should even care.

I guess that means no tweets from him for now.

I agree, I think it won't see a significant drop although I can't remember if that opinion is reflected in my predictions...which were made a while ago.

I cant believe I missed this month.

But I fully expect the unbelievable E3 MS had in june to roll its momentum in full force in July. The first full month of Post E3 bonanza and listening to consumers of kinectless SKU.

I will salute the winner from the sidelines.

Good month.

Overall growth in the teens... pretty good

Yay :D

Good to see the industry not die quite yet

Also for those curious

Time left until NPD PR is usually released

When was the last time there was double digit growth in both HW and SW

July 2013 sales were extremely low and there wasn't two new systems, the surprising thing would be that there wasn't a sizable growth.

3DS - 150,000
360 - 107,000
PS3 - 79,000
Wii ~ 35.000
NDS ~ 31.000
WiiU ~ 29.000
Vita ~ 16.000

PS4 alone should nearly match Xbox 360 + PS3 + Wii + Wii U.
