Police say a 33-year-old man has been accused of sucker-punching a pregnant woman who was walking down the street in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon.
Willie Stephens has been charged with assault after the attack on Monroe Street in Bushwick.
Police say the 34-year-old woman was walking on the street when the suspect allegedly came up and punched her in the eye before walking away.
An officer in the area found the woman lying on the ground and she was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in unknown condition.
Officers canvassing the area after the attack tracked down Stephens, who apparently matched the woman’s description of the attacker, according to the NYPD.
It’s not clear if Stephens has an attorney.

The police have lied about this before, here and in other locations. Numerous incidents that are just random acts of violence have been incorrectly attributed to the "knockout game" because nothing was stolen or the two people did not know each other. The fact is that the name implies that all these people are in-the-know about a violent game and attacking people with the sole intent of participating in this game.
