So why the FUCK did they even release that detail anyway?
Because it has an overall bearing on the timeline/state of mind of Brown.
So why the FUCK did they even release that detail anyway?
Well, apparently the "press asked for it"...
It pretty much is, by releasing the video it helps people justify his execution in their mind. Point in case many upon many remedial people in this very thread as of late with their not at all subtle bullshit.
"Why release the video if they weren't connected?"
"Because the press asked for it."
Fair enough
There were some defenses though. I merely pointed out defending the robbery is just as bad as using it for justification. That's beyond fair to say, no?
No, you're misinterpreting my posts. I've said at least twice it's not directly related. It could give reasons for actions from either side on that street, but doesn't justify any excessive force.
I quoted Zoe after reading a few posts from said poster that were very logical, but brushed aside. That lead to some people seeming to want to defend every aspect of Brown's life, which is completely unnecessary for a case of excessive force.

Chief Jackson: When the officer stopped Michael brown he was NOT aware that Michael Brown was a robbery suspect
So wait what did the boy do? Did he actually steal from yhe store or no? Someone update me please.
@CBSNews: JUST IN: Ferguson police chief says officer's first contact with victim wasn't related to reported robbery WATCH: http://t.co/2DNgii48c0
The PD never said why he was stopped until now.
"The initial contact with mr brown and the officer was unrelated to the robbery."
Who said anything about saying he deserved to die? Wasn't me.
I stole cigarettes from the store as a kid. I don't think I deserve to die for it either.
So confirmed smear campaign?"Initial contact between the Officer and Mr. Brown was not related to the robbery"
How did they know he stole something?Yes, he did, but the robbery had absolutely nothing to do with being shot.
Q: If it's unrelated, why did you release the video today?
A: Because you asked for it. I held onto it as long as I could, but you asked for it.
What bullshit.

Chief Jackson: When the officer stopped Michael brown he was NOT aware that Michael Brown was a robbery suspect
Have we heard anything from the clerk in the video? I'm shocked he hasn't released some sort of statement unless I have missed it this afternoon.
Nah, that's irrelevant too. The only thing that matters is if Brown tried to get the cop's gun (which I have a very hard time believing). And even if he did, shooting him dead over it remains bullshit. This cop is a trigger-happy horse's ass no matter how you slice it, imo. This can be cleared up with one simple question. Did Brown assault a police officer or not?
The media went in hard on that, so good to know that I wasn't hearing things, and that there is infact 2 different stories by the Chief. That's not saying much, this Chief indeed makes Wiggum look like a genius.
Is there any documentation for such a request from the press for the robbery video?Well, apparently the "press asked for it"...
Because it has an overall bearing on the timeline/state of mind of Brown.
I have seen the system work wonders to form cases to put guys away for smoking or handling small amounts of weed but for a white "Gentle Quiet" nice police officer he will most likely be suspended from his job because of the pressure from the people but he will not be prosecuted. Come on we already know how this story ends.
Watching the press conference right now. Wow. The fact that the officer's contact with Brown had nothing to do with the robbery is huge. That means the danger Brown posed in the mind of the officer had to be entirely the result of the altercation during the stop.
What I want to knowDid he shop lift, or just walk in..grab them..try to walk out..toss an elderly person..walk out..?
So cop wasnt responding to that call when stopping him they say? I wonder if Brown thought his previous actions of robbery and assualt was the reason for the cop interacting with him.
"Why release the video if they weren't connected?"
"Because the press asked for it."
Ok, yeah I'm now convinced that Deputy Droopy could run this investigation better.
Oh please; your narrative is clear as day. If you weren't trying to insinuate it you wouldn't mention it because his stealing the cigarillos doesn't even matter in context of this person being executed. He could have stolen $1,000 worth of stuff it changes nothing about the crux of this situation and the reason for protests; his unjustified killing.
"Why release the video if they weren't connected?"
"Because the press asked for it."
Yeah, I know my first reaction when being attacked by a 6'4" 300lb man is to make sure I don't hurt him. Completely unjustified, got it.
What I want to know
The poor innocent child who was killed had just stolen a box of cigars from a convenience store. SHOCKING.
Okay. I didn't see Zoe's posts. And you're right, it is unnecessary to build a case of excessive force, but my question to you then is why would the Ferguson PD release the incidence report then, now that we know that the officer who responded to the robbery wasn't the officer who shot Brown?
Q: If it's unrelated, why did you release the video today?
A: Because you asked for it. I held onto it as long as I could, but you asked for it.
What bullshit.
