Looking at (for now) all of the Smash Bros. characters ever on a single roster really shows what clones and odd character inclusions can do to a game.
Yo. That's cute

The fanfic is slowly corrupting the essence of SmashGAF itself.
Things will never be the same.
Please ignore the fact that I did this before to a different community thread.
Well , ya'll have fun imma just observe.
Ghosts can't get shipped , so I am fine.

I enjoy each new Smash Bros. more than the previous one, so I'm not worried about this game.

Haha dead characters need love too.
>9 PokémonThis would be the best roster ever for Smash 4!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
ha
Anyone can get shipped. That's the horrible, beautiful power of fanfiction.
oh dear god i really just typed that sentence
But you were Sonic with sunglasses not too long ago... or did he die? D:
I think I'd be more upset that 6 out of the 9 Pokemon would be from one sole generation, tbh>9 Pokémon
No thank you.
I need a job.I'm newly 23 and the thing I miss about high school is the usual thing: being around my friends all the time. The familiar faces and the assumed hang-outs and seeing each other basically every day.
I hate college. I hate college more than anything I have ever done in my life. The day I finish my degree will be like coming out of the desert for forty years. It has been NOTHING but suffering.
As for how this relates to games, I've never lived at school, so I haven't had any little local communities to play games with. There was a brief period in 2010 where the student lounge had Brawl tournaments and that was a lot of fun when it lasted. But what attracted me to SmashGAF is that I can constantly talk about Smash and keep up on the news just like I did with my friends in high school.
Same reasons as me for joining GAF. It's great to have a community to talk about Smash and I've even met a few people who live in my city!I'm newly 23 and the thing I miss about high school is the usual thing: being around my friends all the time. Ninjendo is terrifying.
Am I the only one who enjoyed college more than high school? I love the liberty of making my own class schedule as well as skipping classes when I'm lazy (hey, I graduated fine, don't worry)
Well I enjoy my working life the most anyway. Can't beat the experience of earning your own bucks while doing your passion. It also helps that I can buy both Smash games with my hard-earned cash lol.

If we had nine reps, I'd want Pikachu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Celebi, Lucario, and Greninja.

Yeah, I miss being around the old group of friends all the time. Back then we would have ~weekly hangout sessions, sometimes with 9 or 10 people. I still see a few of them with some regularity, but mostly people are older and more split into different groups, or just fallen out of contact. I've never lived at school, but during college I did live with family about 30 minutes away from home. Since I was a broke college kid, driving back to my home town often was expensive, so I didn't get to see friends much at all. But at least through all that it felt like I head time. The grinds for projects and studying would get rough some times, but once each one was over, I always looked back at it with a sense of enjoyment.I'm newly 23 and the thing I miss about high school is the usual thing: being around my friends all the time. The familiar faces and the assumed hang-outs and seeing each other basically every day.

We don't even have a real date yet. Hopefully the tie-in launch of Amiibo means that the launch of the game can't be as flexible.
I always felt the opposite. The money from working is kinda whatever; the extra time work takes is way more valuable. And work (for me) ended up being way less fulfilling than school was. School always felt like I was being pushed to systematically learn new things and expand my understanding, while work feels like it's just getting some humdrum stuff done, and if you have to learn some stuff in the process good. Before getting out of school I actually worried about ever finding anything I moderately enjoyed, but it turned out ok. I don't mind my job now. There are more people who would agree with you than me, I'm sure. I hate it because I prioritize working, which classes cut in on and complicate. Not to mention the fact that the enormous expense consumes basically every penny I work so hard to make. I've been paying out of pocket as I've gone along and have no debt.
So it's soul-sucking.
He's talking about the 3DS version. Aren't review copies starting to show up in Japan?
what's Ninjendo, some sort of Nintendo knockoff that went 3rd party?
lol
I didn't know Serebii had an alt on GAF!
Nope.Is anyone in this thread actually still in high school? The sign up age for GAF is 15, right?
Don't worry, we'll get through university alive together!I'm newly 23 and the thing I miss about high school is the usual thing: being around my friends all the time. The familiar faces and the assumed hang-outs and seeing each other basically every day.

If nothing else, I can browse SmashGaf at work.![]()
Sorry to hear that. You lived the dream, man. I'm happy for you. I wish my own higher education experience was like yours. For me, going to college is like an institutionalized obligation that has created a standard for simply entering the work force. My degree has little value as a result and I'm not learning anything new as much as I am sharpening my strongest skills.
My personal experience feels like little more than a huge time and money sink. But college is an individual experience and I don't expect or hope that anybody else's experience is as bad as mine.
Yeah, I wish they would reveal Jigglypuff for Worlds too.oh boy, I woke up from a strange dream with various pokken fighters being confirmed
I recently nabbed a gaming journalist internship :3
hoping to be the one to nab that smash review
