I've been looking at picking up the Tales of Xillia 2 official guide and i preordered back in June when it was announced. Checking my order the other day has a dispatch date of 10th September so i'm looking for another place to get it, any ideas where i can find it for a decent price?

Worst case scenario, is it possible to get the eguide from the us prima site or is it ip blocked?

Think you can only get it in NA. Even the one on Amazon UK has the exact same description as the NA one including about the DLC only working in NA. So I'd assume it's just an import from Amazon US. You can make a US account to download the dynamic theme though.

PINBALL ARCADE Season 1 PS4 is only €13,99 on PSN, what a goddamn steal!
Best version of the game by far (yes, PC/Steam included)

UK people can pick this up for £12 from CEX. Used obviously, but with a disk.

Is there any difference between the retail/digital versions? There's so many tables and different packs I have no idea what comes with what.

Nintendo are doing a pretty big sale tied-in to the newcomers in Smash Bros, including:

  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf for £24.49
  • Tomodachi Life for £27.99
  • Super Punch-Out for £2.79
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising for £20.99
  • 50% off all NES MegaMan games

And more at http://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2014...l&mailname=SuperSmashBros_Newcomers_Sale_Mail

Offer ends August 21st and then there'll be another sale for games featuring veteran Smash characters. Sounds good!

Not exactly much of sale, pretty weak discounts... Nintendo can do much better.

I usually always go physical if possible but I'd rather have a game like this digital and always on the system.
Patches and DLC are a fundamental part of the game anyway.

Just a little note. I discovered that Wii Fit U stuff (Fit Meter and Fit Meter + software bundle) are way cheaper in Germany than in UK. I have no idea why that is.

The Fit Meter + software bundle is exactly the same as in UK and I just got mine for around 30EUR. That bundle is 35pounds+ in UK.
Fit Meter alone is currently 12EUR (!) at amazon.de, but 13pounds at amazon.co.uk.

And Wii Fit U (the software) is absolutely amazing. I thought it was just a little upgrade from the Wii software, but it's way more than that. And they are using the gamepad on top of the Balance Board in all sorts of funny ways.

Amazon.de sells the "Wii Fit U inkl. Fit Meter - [Nintendo Wii U]" for €43.

Nice. Come to me, Mega Men!

I live in Europe and I'm very interested in getting Madden 15 for the PS4 this year. Everywhere I've looked, I've found the game for around €60, but today I stumbled upon this offer:

Madden NFL 15 (PS4) at Zavvi for €58. Use the code 10OFFPO to get it for €52.25.

Taking into account that the PSN Store will probably sell the game for around €69, is this the cheapest I'm going to get it? Any alternative? I've never shopped at Zavvi, so I don't know if I will have to wait a long time for the game to ship.

£36 or so on US PSN, I've just pre-ordered it myself from there.

I see, but I don't think I am willing to buy a game on the US PSN yet. While there doesn't seem to be any problem right now, the fact is that Sony might decide to crack down those accounts in the future because the terms of service specify that you must disclose your real adress.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Hey guys,

I want to pick up some Sony Gold headphones for Destiny. Zaavi still has them for 60pounds. Should I go for it or is there any place cheaper? Thanks.

bought super punch out and some of the nes megaman games.

For anyone interested in Diablo 3 for PS4, if you are living in Germany just search on ebay for it and you see an offer for 54,90€ including delivery.

Great! Thank you =]

The other one where your comment is actually correct is new releases and buying them via the US PSN Store

Typically a new release in the UK is £60
Buying on UK PSN is that same £60

Preorders / loss leading offers etc and you'll often be able to pick up a new release around £40 / £45 if you get the right retailer at the right time.

Normally a US release is $60 which works out at around £35 - £37

You are obviously better off taking the physical copy because you can then resell it in the future but thats up to you

Are you saying I can make a US PSN account and buy games digitally for that amount?

Yup. Google how to create an account but it is really easy. If you make your PS4 the home console for your US account, you can buy things from the US store and still play them on your Euro account.

I think credit cards don't work directly though (because they check the address). So what I do is:
1) create US PSN account with an address I a tax free state (I use Oregon). This will save you from paying sales tax
2) add a US address to your amazon account. I use the same Oregon address.
3) set your default address in amazon to your US one.
4) buy $50/100/whatever amazon gift card from amazon.com, and set it to be delivered to your own email address. Amazon will accept your euro credit/debit card for this no problem.
5) check your email, and redeem the code back on amazon.com. You'll how have eg $100 in amazon credit
6) buy a US PSN card. Because you have credit, it doesn't need to check your credit card address, so it goes through. You get the PSN code immediately
7) redeem the PSN code on your US account. Buy game of your choice.

Sounds long-winded but it doesn't take long and is well worth it. Step 4 is needed because PSN cards are not allowed to be directly sold outside of the US.

He should be able to skip 4/5 and go straight to buying a US PSN code on amazon.com without needing to buy amazon store credit first. It doesn't seem to check my credit card anyway when buying them directly.

worth a try. Mine said that PSN cards couldn't be sold to people outside of the US, even though I'd switched my address to the US one. Seems spotty and depends on the card provider maybe? Doesn't take much longer anyway.

Weird, I buy psn cards from amazon directly with my european credit card, as long as my billing address is the fake us one. No need to get amazon credit before.

It says the same thing about PC games but I've been buying them for a while without any problems.

A little unrelated, but since we were on a similar discussion...
Could anyone explain what are the possible regions of PSN DLC/game codes?

In my specific case, I want to buy an Australian copy of the MGS Legacy collection.
It comes with a voucher for MGS1. Should it work on a European PSN account?
I know I can open an Australian one (or are they the same region?), I want to redeem it on my main account.
Also, are PSN gift cards country specific, or are they region specific?

I bought a $100 and $75 PSN card last night using from Halifax Visa card without needing to buy credit. Been buying them for a while and not had a problem.
