Probably because different slang ( can't think of the proper word ) used by people of St. Louis area vs Chicago. Also, plenty of Illinois plates that I noticed last stream.
I mean, of course, this is world news, so it wouldn't be surprising if it was people from the city nor would it be surprising if they actually were from Chicago. I was just curious if she knew for sure or if it was just deflection.

Basically the same thing that happens every Mayday protest in Seattle where anarchists from out of town come in to start shit.
Causes people to dismiss legitimate grievances, when that type of thing happens, which is a shame. You could hear the frustration in that one dude last night about how they lost an entire day after the looting happened.
I know, but last night was IL plate guys driving to loot stores. Which is why I noticed.

Well, St. Louis is right on the border, so seeing illinois plates is not uncommon. My guess is groups from East St. Louis.
As someone who has inhaled both smoke and tear gas for military training, smoke from a smoke can doesn't do shit. Tear gas? Even a low dose of that will have everything from your eyes, throat, nasal passages burning. French just said he opened the door for a woman whose eyes and throat were burning. It was tear gas.

If someone got killed, we'd be hearing it like an ant hill that got kicked over. So I don't think anyone got shot. I think it's more of the latter: warnings.

I'd probably notice that there was no violence when officers weren't dressed like stormtroppers and aiming guns at protestors, then base my decision off of that
