There better be more legends. That roster is trash.

If what they said at the panel is true, that My Career mode puts you through developmental and NXT, then there's either a bunch of NXT guys on the roster or we're going to be fighting lame premade CAWs.

I say gawd dam. Miss the reveal but don't sound like I missed too much. They still have to do filler spots for guys who worked exactly the same in both eras. Nash in nwo and Nash in wwf had the exact same moveset. Attires with name attached would serve the same purpose, no?

That's HHH turning on HBK at a DX reunion that was in the build up to their match at SS 2002. HBK took the pedigree super weird for a few years, I assume because he was worried about his back. That's not game footage.

Lol oh thats why it has the bars on the side since it was shot in 4:3. Damn I thought I was actually looking at something new.
 
I'm pumped for the game, getting the Hulkamania Edition for that exclusive Funko Pop, piece of ring canvas from Wrestlemania, and also the autograph. The game looks fun to me. It's like WWE itself, it's super fucking cheesy and retarded but it's still fun to watch. As long as the My Career stuff is pretty good, I'll probably like it. Sadly, my expectations for first year "sport" titles on new systems aren't very high, ever since Madden '06 on 360. I also don't have any experience with the seemingly sub-par wrestling games of the past 10 years, so I don't have that "same ol crap" feeling bumming me out right now either like most of you guys lol.

That said, I'm a little disappointed in the roster reveal. Shield Seth is pretty out of date and none of the newer guys who have been spotlighting for the past few months is pretty sucky. Mainly, no Rusev and Lana makes me a sad panda.
 
I've been out of the loop for quite a while when it comes to wrestling but the game won't feature Hardy boys, Lita, The Edge, Kane, Trish Stratus, etc..?

Kane will be there since he's still on the roster. Edge in all likelihood should be there. Trish and Lita are toss ups but doubtful. Hardys are not going to be there.

So no Tori Wilson, Snitsky, etc... Was under the impression they had all previous wrestlers and this was a huge roster. I see Diesel is there but we can't recreate the Kliq?
No Kurt Angle too?

No. They shove in some legends, but they can't get anyone from TNA.
 
Call me crazy, but I'd be happy if there were less Legends this year. I mean, I don't mind having a few, but they shouldn't take up half of the available roster spots, especially when there are current Superstars and Divas who could take their place. The same goes for all the alternate versions of wrestlers, too. They should just be alternate attires with movesets you can toggle depending on which version you want to play as.
 
Yeah, there's a lot missing that just weren't announced like NXT people who we know are in and people who need updating that should be since 2K/VC with their facilities are able to do things faster and more efficiently than THQ use to. It was said a couple months ago that the cutoff was going to be closer to release this time around as opposed to the previous WrestleMania cutoff that's been in place since the series moved to multiple platforms last generation and into HD.

I'd rather have a legend than someone like Heath Slater or other guys that have been pretty much regulated to joke or jobber status. But it shouldn't much of an issue anymore due to what resources 2K/VC have available.

Agree about alt attires but you definitely need to have guys like Justin Gabriel, David Otunga, and Great Khali on the roster? They haven't even had the Uso's on even though they've been in the mainstay for a while now. They had Otunga in last year and he hasn't been a regular for two years. Roster consistency isn't Yukes/WWE (?) strong suit.

They should update Bret Hart and Steve Austin so they aren't models from 2010.
 
God it looks so, so bad. Even ignoring the bugs the arena and animations look the same as they have been for years, why is there only one announcers table? Why do they still look so floaty with no weight at all? Looks so slow with the new grapple system as well. Awful.
 
Is there anything at all right now showing that they were able to get things in that happened after WrestleMania except Cesaro having his new song and clothes?

That match actually looked like fun. Glad someone picked Goldust.

The buggy stuff seems more unfinished than anything else in this video. The lack of proper animation when they are thrown into the table should hopefully be there in the final game.

Wow, the Orton Goldust match looks great. Orton's animations look stellar, although the game still has the classic jank. Hoping they hop on the Euphoria band wagon one day, or Rockstar should make a kickass unlicensed Wrasslin' game with intense character creation tools.

Edit- forgot 2k and Rockstar are in cahoots, I guess they could make a WWE game if they wanted to.
 
2K is the publisher, not the developer. It means next to nothing that they publish Rockstar's games.

Also DDP deserves real legend status. He is one of the best wrestlers ever. He was the cerebral assassin before bitch ass Triple H. He should get top billing in all of those games. Dude was incredible.
 
The game needs jorts physics and they need to tighten out everything outside the ring. Were the shadows going the wrong direction outside the ring too? Weird. PEACE.

I understand Yuke's is the developer, with Visual Concepts co-developing and 2K publishing, however Rockstar and 2K are both wholly owned by Take 2. If Rockstar wanted to make a wrestling game, I doubt Take 2 would say no. It's definitely something I wish would happen, but highly unlikely. Just fun to say "what if?"
