More gunshots from Tim's stream heard. He says it sounds like live ammo from a group on the protesters side. Police rushing in whenever shots are fired.

It possible he was shot at twice while he was running and then stopped, turned around and surrendered and then was shot. The witnesses might have mistaken that the shots fired when he was running actually struck him.

I turn this on and the guy is running. WTF just happened?

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to placing where gunshots landed on a human body they were watching from probably well over twenty feet away

I agree. Now if the bullets were all from the front, that would contradict the witnesses. Though he still could have been shot while surrendering.

Holy fuck. Ferguson PD justified the purchase of their mine resistant vehicle by citing a need to protect its "pumpkin festival."

Probably this. Need to know how many shots were fired from that officers gun.

Watching a few streams, looks like the state troopers are the aggressive police shouting and trying to intimidate journalists. A mess.

Yep. Not all bullets hit Mike.

MSNBC reporter said no other reporters on the ground have verified independently that Molotov cocktails or shots were fired by the crowd so far.

Going from the witness testimony (which seemed to me fairly credible, given that they were very similar to each other and coming from independent people) and the autopsy combined, it makes me think Brown was being shot at - then turned around and was pelted with the remaining bullets. The report suggested that the last bullets were the ones that struck him in the head (which was bowed), killing him.

Poor guy. How horrible. :(

That explains the premature crackdown on the protestors.

This would help explain why they went all preemptive tonight. Crap would have gotten insanely ugly had that gotten out and we had a repeat of last night. This is horrible too though. Lesser of horrible possible situations maybe? Both equally bad results in the end is more likely. :(

So he was shot from a distance. Guess that means the the was reaching for gun story bullshit.

He might have been reaching for the gun if he was anywhere near the police car, but at some point he ran off. Reaching for and unsuccessfully trying to get a policeman's gun though doesnt mean you ought to get shot 30 yards away as you are running.

Breaking News: Autopsy Shows Michael Brown Was Struck at Least 6 Times

if the cop doesnt go down for this...

On MSNBC. Threatening to mace the media.
saw that, these cops are out of hand. Hand have been for a while apparently.

wasn't there reports that he was shot as he was running away? This report indicates four of the bullets came from the front of brown.
Not necessarily. The witnesses said he was running away and stopped, he could have stopped just from being shot at, not necessarily hit. Regardless, 6 times is overkill, if this were a wife and husband murder, the cops would literally use the term overkill to describe it.

Truth bombs: "If you're police you should dress for the job you have, not the job you want."

so he got shot twice in the head, turned around with his hands up, then got shot four times? Seems unlikely someone would be mobile after getting shot twice in the head.
Yea sorry, I wasn't really concentrating on what you said. I have the live stream on. Was just throwing out a possible reason.

Like I said he could have been shot at as he was running and the bullets didn't hit him. Witnesses could have mistaken that for him being hit when he turned around

He gets shot 4 times and then shot in the head twice.

Witnesses heard shots and might have assumed the bullets struck him. It doesn't really conflict with their reports of running then turning and pleading.

Was the weapon that the officer had when he said he was going to shoot the reporter have "real" bullets. Or is it some sort of rubber bullet thing? They don't actually have live rounds do they?

EDIT: Not that it makes the situation suddenly great. They can still be lethal especially at the range the cop was threatening.

Unreliable eye witnesses that hate the cops? Shocking.

BTW: I still think the cop is guilty but too many people jump on every little 'fact' posted online (this is not directed at you, just in general to the Internet).

The only thing that is in question is whether he got shot in the back. It's more likely that the cop fired, missed, but Brown stopped and turned around to surrender.

These aren't facts, they're witness accounts, but there are multiple, and they all corroborate.
