Some clarification.

Police now saying earlier reports of shots fired turn out to be fireworks. #staywoke

Last tweet refers to most recent reports of gunfire from just a few minutes ago, not gunfire police said was fired earlier in the night.

So CNN could still be right about gunfire earlier.

CNN is continually saying that weapons were fired upon police.

If they can argue that the cop was fearing for his life and had to fire 6+ shots in self defense, then I think one could make the argument that the protesters were simply doing their same to be fair.

Angle. Cop would have to be an unrealistic height for some of the head wounds to occur so they must have been as he was falling

Nah, Mike Brown let out a vicious howl and charged toward brave Officer Wilson. Brown's speed was unnatural! Officer Wilson knew what he had to do despite not wanting to do it. A single tear rolled down Wilson's and he pulled the trigger. The shot rang out hitting Brown in the head; but Brown did not fall. "Thi–this isn't possible!" shouted Wilson and he fired another round into Mike's head; this one felled the raging giant. As he fell fumes from the cigarillos filled the air and a ghostly face appeared....it was Obama!

"Chuck Norris was right!" stated Officer Wilson in fear, "You are the dark lord, how dare you make me take this young man's life unjustly!" The apparition branished a meancing smile then spoke. "Change...change will come" before dissipating. Officer Wilson rushed over to Browns body's praying by some miracle Brown would still be alive.

Brown was indeed alive, but only just barely. He grabbed Officer Wilson's shirt and looked into his eyes. "Thank you for releasing me" he muttered "The world will not understand but you are a hero" his grip lessened on the shirt and his eyes glazed over...Mike Brown was dead.

Plugged an unarmed man in the head multiple times like he was some unstoppable zombie, even though he dropped down and raised his arms. I hope this guy gets what's coming, but I just don't know anymore.

This thread goes way too fast, and realize way too much on Twitter for news during these protest.

This thread goes fast when things happen, and Twitter is probably the best way to get your news on this situation right now since there are a whole hell of a lot of news reporters down there livetweeting

I appreciate the live stream of the guy from Vice that people keep posting, but his journalism is truly awful. He's mixing up way too many terms, spreading potentially false and secondhand information as fact, and hyping quite a bit. Again, I appreciate him being out there and getting us this footage, but I really hate that in these live moments that so much potentially damaging or contradictory information gets spread, and it reminds me why I usually don't follow these things live on here or on twitter.

Dude, I don't think you can be truly objective in this situations until the dust settles.

But then you get stuff like "Jack Twitter Billionaire, has been arrested", and then later you get "Hey, it's me, Jack Twitter Billionaire, just got home".

6 shots is nothing to be honest. What really Is going to matter is if Michael was a threat or not.

Being unarmed doesnt mean police can't shoot to kill. If the autopsy shows that he was mid range theb the cop is screwed. If he was short rang and the are signs of a struggle that will be enough for him to go free.

Man that guy on CNN, Mike Brooks, pretty much said the police are handling this well...

"The police are free to force people to disperse. Now true there is an hour left until curfew, but the police can still tell people to leave. I support the 1st Amendment you know, but still what do the protesters think was going to happen? The bad actors in the crowd caused this to happen"

In other words the police can do whatever the fuck they want. Why? Because police.
