The cops claim that particular group was encroaching on their "command center", whatever that means and failing to disperse. That seems to be their excuse for not following their own curfew.

My kids would never be out there after the events of the past few days. We know what has happened in previous days and we all knew what was going to happen tonight, and we know what is going to happen tomorrow night until this situation is under control. Should it be happening? Of course not but that down and the cops are out of control and it is irresponsible to have kids out there.
 
I'm curious if someone can explain to me how Brown got shot in the eye while allegedly:

A rather large distance away (20 feet? 30 feet?)
Running towards the police officer with his head down
Did he curve the bullet?!
 
So is there some official play by play of the actual events leading up to the killing now?

Autopsy confirms he was shot only in the front right? Was the whole "in the patrol car" stuff ever figured out? I can't make heads or tails of what was supposed to have happened anymore.

I think if we view what happened previous nights, there's a good chance of tear gas, smoke, or rubber bullets flying about. Not an area for children.

I agree with you, but you have to draw the line somewhere as a responsible parent. You need to put their safety first. IMO if I lived in Ferguson, there's no way in hell I would have my child with me anywhere out there. It's just not worth the risk to me.

We knew what was going to happen tonight? You're clairvoyant? They are too? They knew the cops wouldn't honor the curfew?

I see that he's been banned but I want to respond anyways just to get the point out there for others.

If Mike Brown (Or anyone else) has been denied due process....that individual was denied due process by the state....not gaf posters.

We aren't a court of law and we can speculate as much as we want.

And that goes for public opinion on these matters in general. Beyond a Reasonable Doubt = A TRIAL standard.

The autopsy report we received didn't have access to the police car or clothing. But there was no gun residue on Browns body, which likely means all 6 shots were from distance

The eye shot is with his head down as well, goes out his jaw and into his collar bone. More likely falling?

It's hard to tell what happened really, like the autopsy says.
 
So my oldest brother is a camera man for television news station in St. Louis who has been sent out multiple times to Ferguson. He posted this on Facebook an hour ago:

9 pm tonight, police began firing tear gas at protesters who were marching north on West Florissant in Ferguson. Jeff Bernthal, Tom Pasara and I took some direct hits, including some that hit the media staging area

Ugh. I remember being 11 years old at the dining room table and my mother giving me "the talk". I didn't understand it at the time:

"wtf you talking about mom, I'm a good boy. The police are my friends".

I'll be damned if not 23 years later I finally get what she was trying to tell me.

Oh please. There is going to be more teargas tomorrow night because some dumb asses in the crowd are going to light fireworks/cocktail/a real gun/etc. There are some bad apples out there that want to cause issues with the cops and there are cops that want to cause issues with the protesters. It is irresponsible to have kids out there.
 
Anybody watching CNN.

Reports say autopsy expert on CNN said shots that hit inside of arm and hand are consistent with man with arms up in style of surrendering.

So what you're saying is the cops don't know how to handle a situation that involves peaceful protesting and some independent assholes over somewhere else popping off fireworks.
