Hmmm... well some would say the selection of games in best, the remixed stages have more mixed games and Super Luigi Bros is quite a nice bonus, however I found a lot of the challenges were basically just taking you through snapshots of the games rather than exploring their mechanics. That's what happens when they move away from single screen games to multi level games.

Interesting. The better game selection has me tempted, but I didn't even finish the first one. I'll have to think it over some more.

I'm hoping for a Kirby stage. I also want to see another stage boss soon. We've seen one. I almost think that that's the only stage boss, and that there's no others, or that maybe stage bosses or only on the Wii U version, because we have only seen one. Like, it's a new feature, and we've only seen it used once. I kinda think that the Direct might've over-blown expectations as to what there'll actually be.

Very true regarding the artwork.

I actually happen to be comparing Nightmare in Dream Land to Adventure for my blog and I've found I always keep going back and forth on which aesthetic I prefer! They did indeed get lazy in certain cases (the floating platforms, ick) and a couple of the backgrounds don't really mesh with Kirby at all (wtf is with that volcanic shit in Yogurt Yard?), yet a good chunk of the backgrounds still give me the warm fuzzies (never tire of the scope of the grassland from the first level!).

Yeah, they made floating platforms instead of having backgrounds supporting the platforms.

And I think a lot of the backgrounds are too detailed, yet aren't animated, so the clash. They look like paintings in the background.

And stuff like this:

It just looks off when the sprites are that big.

What about the Dark Emperor in the Find Mii stage?

Is that a boss? We've seen hazardous boss-characters on the Gerudo Valley stage, and we've been told Zekrom and Reshiram appear on N's Castle, but we haven't heard of any of them being defeatable like the Yellow Devil. Although maybe that's the only defeatable one? Who knows. It's a really, really under-detailed feature, and I hope to learn more about it soon.

I want to see the new Kirby stage as well, I have a feeling that it'll be really great! The next stage boss will most definitely be Ridley, whenever it shows up! But you also forgot the Find Mii boss! It also causes random status affects.

The next direct will be a blow-out of info!
