Victim is dead. news on the scene.
Have the police been asked to justify their response to a single bottle being thrown?
Weren't riot shields invented fro a reason?
When objects are thrown, you use them to bounce the objects away. Especially when we're talking about a single object
.
Police brutality is so rampant, here in the states. Especially against minorities. I'm so sick of it.

I stand corrected. Still tho, moral of the story is: you shouldn't be shot dead over a $3 theft, period. It's...$3..
I'm fine for people having their opinions but all this support makes it seem like the cop shot the Joker or something. Killing an unarmed 18 y/o seems like something many people shouldn't be so fervently rallying behind.

In my post above I talked about a situation where people got unruly. Theres a video of that same event on youtube somewhere showing that an object was thrown at/near the police but the police didn't show aggressive force.
RE: the autopsy
since there seems some confusion.
Mike was shot 6 times. He had entry wounds in his arm and head. The last 2 shots were to the head, the very last, and only one that was absolutely fatal, entering above his brow line exiting his chin and reentering near his collarbone.
The entry wounds on the arm do not rule out the possibility he was shot from behind and most likely rule out any struggle for the firearm due to lack of residue on his body but we'll know for certain once his clothing is examined.
Protest victim?
wtf
The veil is so thin it's practically not there.
What are these fools even celebrating? People getting murdered on neighborhood streets in broad daylight?

In Germany, a country of 80 million people, the entire police force fired roughly a total of 30 bullets during 2012 More shots than that were fired during a single traffic stop in Miami that year.

There have been, and a lot of them have been uncalled for, yes.
Protest victim?
wtf
Let's not jump to conclusions. This is in STL city not in Furgesson.
It's a guy who was robbing a convenience store with a knife. Who then charged at police. Witnesses appear to corroborate.

The officer fled the scene.
ST. LOUIS One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting in north St. Louis.
The shooting happened near Riverview Boulevard and McLaran Avenue. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson says the suspect pulled a knife on officers. No officers were injured.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, which is located approximately four miles from the unrest in Ferguson.
NewsChannel 5 has a crew at the scene. This story will be updated as information becomes available.
A couple of pages back there was some mention of finding the radio call in of "Josie". It's located here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzBdY6WXeRE
Can you point me to a source where the shot to the eye was the last shot?
From the press briefing of the family autopsy, they say the last two shots were likely to the head, but they didn't say they could specify the order of those two shots.
EDIT: The questions being answered in the video was "Could they specify the order of the shots ( all 6 ). So the answer you are hearing is discussing the order of all 6 shots.

One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Browns skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the familys request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.

Wonder how many bullets they used for a charging knife-wielding attacker...

These officers really have never heard of tasers or anything less lethal have they?
I can agree with this.See:
Honestly, the robbery is so damn incidental to the shooting that it isn't worth discussing. However, you have people on both sides of the argument that keep bringing it up. On the one hand you have people who insist upon arguing that he never committed a crime, while on the other hand you have people who want to crucify him and use the fact that he allegedly committed a robbery minutes before his death as some sort of wink and nudge justification for his death. Let's just accept that it appears as if Michael Brown robbed a store for some cigarillos and agree that it was entirely irrelevant to the fact that he was shot by Officer Wilson.
Damn. But given it's been escalating everyday , it was bound to happen. Surprised it happened during the day tho.Victim is dead. news on the scene.

While we're striving for accuracy lets remember that:
(1) Michael Brown was never convicted of strong-arm robbery.
(2) He was gunned down in the middle of the street before that could happen.

Well, outside of america, like in Gemany.. police are able to deal with violence without shooting things. Not so much in america, especially when you're brown.
Another person shot that IMO didn't have to be. He has a knife sure. But why can't they use batons or tasers. Why is it always shoot to kill?
Heaven forbid people take a little personal responsibility. No how the knife wielding guy could've avoided being shot and killed? Putting the knife down. Mind blowing concept.
has to be more than an unarmed man, right..?
This situation, I'll give the cops the benefit of the doubt. An attacker was rushing them with a deadly weaponAnother person shot that IMO didn't have to be. He has a knife sure. But why can't they use batons or tasers. Why is it always shoot to kill?
