And Uprising was just the sequel to the SSBM credits.
And SSBM was just the sequel to SSB which was just the sequel to Kirby Super Star.

Pic of the day. The treasure chests that appear in Smash Run are very important. Not only do they give you stat boosts, but they also give you custom parts (the bag on the right) and Smash Run powers (the bag on the left). You should pick these up and use them in the next battle!!

However, watch out for Mimicuties disguised as treasure chests. Run away! RUN AWAY!!
Sakurai is so shook from the leaks that he could only post a Smash Run pic.
FAN ART TO SOOTHE US

Why is samus dressed as a nun lol, all good fanart regardless
Woohoo? Pretty sure we already knew about treasure drops and Mimicuties. Can't win them all, I suppose. Good night and stay sane, SmashGAF!
I believe it's in response to the claim the ZSS is "over-sexulized".Why is samus dressed as a nun lol, all good fanart regardless

What leaks are people talking about?
Isn't it obvious, guys? Link thought he found a treasure (leak) but it turned out to be a fake that kicked his illusions right in the ass.
Im guessing it is poking fun at the "un-decent alt/femenist" talk with yesterdays PotD

FTFY
I didn't say it was a good response. But nun fetishism exists, and is actually really popular, just more fuel for rule 34
That's really stretching it. Wart's role in Link's Awakening is a small cameo, whereas DK, Wario, and Yoshi are recurrent fixtures in Mario games.
To be totally honest, I imagine part of the reasoning for giving Yoshi, DK, and Wario separate icons is to make it seem like there are less Mario characters than there are. Even so, I think at least DK and Wario games have done enough different in their games to be treated as proper separate franchises, even if they all fall under the Mario umbrella. Like, it would be weird to me if Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong had a Mario icon because their roles in full fledged Donkey Kong games stand out to me far more than their sideline Mario appeaeances (especially Diddy Kong, if he was repping Mario games then he'd be a pretty terrible representation for them). Wario too. Yoshi, however, would probably be fine with a Mario icon. He's still very much a character you see in mainline Mario titles alongside his standalone games (featuring Mario characters). Is it disrespectful if Nintendo themselves considers those characters to be in the same umbrella as the Mario series?

The keyword here is 'universe'. Sure, they play differently, but that is the case for some franchises that share the same universe as others. Manhunt and GTA evolved into two totally separate beasts, but do in fact share the same fictional universe. And like those, Nintendo was able to branch off some of those lines of games with different focuses, even if some of them bleed together like NSMB2's focus on coin collection being more of a Wario-themed game than a Mario-themed game.
Thanks for the reminder, I needed to change my avatar ages ago.

I'm sorry if this post doesn't seem too well written or thought out. I'm kinda tired.![]()
Maybe Sakurai wasn't able to finish those characters in time and is offering them as (free?) DLC once they're completed. Why would the DLC characters all be vets + Chorus Men, like seriously
Smash Run updates are the worst.
What's this 'leak' everyone is talking about?
Your post is fine

Don't forget these three:
Just saw it at 4chan. I'm not sure if it came from same leaker or not.

That last image rubs me the wrong way, though. Shulk punching? And even if it's actually a grab (which could make sense), the Monado's upside-down (Shulk normally has the hilt by his head when he's not wielding it, a la how Link stores the Master Sword), which just looks silly - and I can't imagine he'd just drop the sword for his grab quite like that.![]()
And here we see 4 murky blobs claiming to be Shulk, Ganondorf, Charizard, and Lucina.
Actually, (midgame spoiler, circa Prison Island)The Monado doesn't hurt people though. Maybe took that into consideration when he gave him his moveset. Could still be total BS though.
