WWE SuperCard Released (CCG)

Got to Super rare ++ but its a bitch. Having to make sure I still face off against Super rare+ people because I cant get cards to upgrade my SR and Rs and god forbid another rare AJ drop or something. Currently winning a King of the ring tournament so hoping a win can get me some useful ones.

The KOTR is holding me back though too because I managed to get 2 SRs that I can merge to upgrade but damn tournament takes so long
 
Finally got round to playing this yesterday and its actually really fun so far. I have only been doing ex matches since i have heard everyone complaining about the King of the Ring. I think my record is 125 wins and around 12 loses I think, not too bad from what I have seen of others but it is annoying when you lose :)

I have a question though, hopefully someone here will be able to help with, I have noticed that some cards I have (I think a few wrestlers and a few support) say they are in use but they aren't? I have my 2 support cards set up already so I wasn’t too sure what the game was talking about, it hasn’t explained anything about this as far as I can tell so I was a little confused.

Q: What triggers my Superstar's abilities?

Abilities are triggered randomly when the Superstar is played. The chance for the ability to trigger is based on the rarity of the Superstar. Here's the current trigger percentages:
Uncommon - 15%
Rare - 17.5%
Super Rare - 20%
Ultra Rare - 25%
Epic - 30%
Legendary - 33%

You could always purposely make a worse deck and roll back to a lower tier if you just want to grind and win a bunch of cards to use as upgrade fodder.

Everyone I use is maxxed out, so I'm on KOTR to try and get a UR pair. I've noticed that you can use the back button to not pick any cards, so I'm only picking cards when I need extra energy boosts now.
 
So is anybody else intentionally targeting the pay to win people who have way too few games to be at the level they are at? I have found they make pretty easy targets where while they may have a couple of powerful cards, they havent had the pulls to really level them up much, so my leveled cards are usually able to win still.

I was doing that and I would win most of the matches. However, there will be times you run into legendary cards and there is no way to beat them unless you have pro epic or legendary cards. I would feel so salty afterwards.

Yeah but normally they put their legendary in a tag team to compensate which makes their singles/divas an easy target.
 
I prefer to target the one with most losses, regardless of how many games they played. After that, preferably someone that actually played to get there. I think they are more likely to be lacking in some areas, which I can profit on.

It seems though that with each win you climb some ladder and you will eventually run into people that are too strong. You lose, and you climb up again. I am constantly getting winning streaks and then beaten down by Legendary teams that I should not be facing yet.

I have bumped into one or two with a legendary but even if I lose that match I still usually win the other two and win the match. It seems like with this game to pay to win you REALLY have to invest a lot to do it.
 
Trying to grind for cards to train with and I swear almost every other card pick is a power up. I'm full on all powerups and have no intention of doing KOTR anytime soon so it's getting really tiring constantly drawing cards I can't even use.

Honestly though, I am sad Santino retired. He was perfectly happy being the comedy guy, and did such a good job with it.

I followed Xia's advice and made a weak deck to farm for training cards in the Rare Tier, I have the maximum allotment of energy and boost cards, I probably should've been in a KOTR while I was grinding. Now I'm waiting to get into the UR Tier to do it.
 
I thought I could get a nice quick free 2 SRs from KOTR before bumping it up to UR, felt slightly evil going in with all pro SRs and stuff but ya godda do etc...
Turns out some blokes with epics thought the same, this is going to get ugly (somehow I got first winning everything while I was sleeping, sucks because now everyone uses boosts fightin vs me).

Also am I the only one who gets WAY less boosts if they're at 5/5? It's probably placebo but I don't use them anymore, getting a boost is just such a waste when I need URs.

Just back out of the card selection screen after the fight using your devices buttons so you can stock up on card pulls/flips.
Then you can change back to your main deck and redeem them on the higher tier table.
Also saving up means you get more chances to get doubles to combine them before feeding.

(You can also usually back out of fights without taking a loss but you don't get the card for that...taking a loss would probably be better but good for ragequitting out of a legendary fight)

When you're on the card pick screen (and assuming you have 0 credits), click the icon on the bottom right under Get More Picks, click Yes to go to the store, then hit the Home button up top to return to the main menu. Your picks will start getting stockpiled under Get Cards, you'll see a little number there showing how many you have.
 
Training - Do I just use lower tier cards to train my highest tiered card?
Combine - So I have two of the same cards, do I combine them and then use for training, do I need to level them up before I combine or before I use for training?
Moving up - Once I get a higher tier card is that when I move up?

Highest cards I have pulled is one Super Rare. Is it just luck on getting high tier cards or more wins = better pulls?

I finished 4th in a KOTR tourney, but it seemed like last more than a day. Not sure I will play more of them or not, but any strategy?

Anyone spend real money? I wouldn't mind spending a few backs to try and get better cards.

You'll be using your lower tier cards to level up your highest tier ones. The only uncommon cards worth leveling up are diva ones if you can't get a rare or higher there.

Combining cards gives a stat boost and increases the max level a card can get to, but for maximum benefit you'll want to max level up both cards before combining. Not sure on the exact numbers, but for example in other CCGs combining cards before they're maxed would give a 5% boost to all stats, but if they were both maxed out it would give a 10% boost to all stats instead. Same sort of thing with this game, though the specific numbers may be different. Once that combined card is maxed out in level, it should beat any card in the next tier up and even low-level cards 2 tiers up.

As you progress and get better cards, you can then use those older pro cards you don't need anymore as level up fodder as they provide a huge XP boost. For example, I had a max pro uncommon AJ Lee, ended up making a max pro uncommon Eva Marie since she had slightly better stats, and then ended up with 2 rare Eva Marie cards for winning a KOTR. I used the AJ Lee card to level up one of the rare Eva cards and it went from level 1 to level 17.

Tier is based on your overall deck power. Getting a SR and some of the better rares will likely get you close to moving up into the first Super Rare tier, in most cases you'll need at least one or two of those cards to be leveled up though.

It's all just a random drop, though I think the first time you get into a tier you should get at least one guaranteed pull for that tier. But the higher you go, I'm assuming the lower the possibility for a drop (i.e. Epic tier pulls are rarer than UR pulls are rare than SR pulls, etc) as that's how other CCGs work. Which makes KOTR more useful at those higher tiers since if you can get into the finals you'll get a guaranteed pair of that tier.

So what's the competitive advantage to saving up picks? Trying to understand why I would do this. Cool you can, though!

You assemble a weak deck with a slightly powerful diva to go back down to the rare tier and get easy wins since the majority of those players have a weak Diva card. For example, my weak deck is 4 level zero rares (Rock, Del Rio, Goldust, Justin Gabriel), a level 4 uncommon AJ, and two rare support cards.
What they're proposing is to amass several wins with your weak deck but don't draw any cards until you revert back to your strongest deck so that when you do draw cards, it'll be in your current rarity tier instead of the rare tier.

And not only that but if you're in a KOTR, you can save those picks until you need energy cards.

Ah, I see! Honestly, I don't really have a problem losing as I have a maxed out Pro Rare Eva Marie who's quite the beast. I also got a UR Dusty Rhodes (complete with the polka dot getup) and a maxed out Pro SR Batista, so my deck is fairly strong at the moment.

But I can definitely see how this could be useful if you're on a tier with folks sporting much stronger cards than you. I'm not quite there yet, so maybe I'm lucky.

Yeah, I've gotten one rare diva card and I was getting killed in the SR++ tier.

Having a maxed out Pro diva is essential it seems. Weirdly enough, not only did I get a rare AJ & Eva Marie pair, but I just got a SECOND rare Eva Marie pair. So now I'm going to max them out, combine them, and basically have a killer KOTR diva set. :D

Eventually you hit a wall where you have the right cards to move up, but you may need to upgrade them first. And once you start getting to upgrading SRs and up, or even just trying to max pro rares, that can take a lot of cards. Easier to get a ton of cards for upgrade fodder by moving down several tiers.

Anyway I guess they can't really fix much game related without a patch eh?

I'm 3800 games in and my team is sick. But the fact that I never found a Diva above R quality saddens me.

Damn, that's not encouraging considering I'm in the same situation. Took me forever to get a Rare Diva and haven't found a Super Rare or a combinable card yet. I see loads of people say they get Rare and Super Rare Diva cards all the time, and then people like us who hardly get them at all. Very odd how it works.

RNG is a real bitch for sure. I haven't seen so many cards people have.

I am owning this KOTR I am in though hardcore. 39-6 record. Only lost 6 because they happened at terrible hours. Next closest person is 34-11. Really hoping I get some useful cards when it it finishes up.

Still rocking my rare AJ. Haven't been able to even see another rare or better diva for me. Always so disgusting to get beat by a super rare Cameron :/
 
I stocked up 100 card draws, switched back to UR Tier and drew a rare Yokozuna, rare Uso Brother and the rest were boost cards (of which I'm already fully stocked). Zero Ultra Rare cards :(

I'd hate to imagine going through all that grinding the legit way only to end up with those results.

At least I got to finish leveling up some cards.

I'm finishing up my Pro SR Lesnar then gonna work on my Pro Big Show and Dbry. Still waiting to pull an UR, just hit Ultra Rare+.

Geez, I just played my 900th game and I'm lamenting the fact that I can't get any higher Diva card than the rare AJ I got 400 games ago.

I just got to the Ultra Rare tier and I don't go how much further I can go on. It seems that even after getting to the Ultra Rare tier, you're still going to get 90% common/uncommon cards, and the game is clearly designed to get harder and harder the more you play without spending any money.
 
I hit that same wall and was super bummed. A couple of pro super rares and two pro rares pushed me into Ultra++ and the drops started to change into uncommon and rares instead of commons and uncommons.

I'm in the running again and earning and leveling slightly better cards.

Each time I switched a major rating tier I seem to hit a similar bump for ~50-75 games before I had/had leveled cards to make it to ++ and start making decent progress again.

Either way, the lack of decent diva drops in relative proportion to how important they are to your deck is a bummer.
 
I'm about 33% into ultra++, but I don't think I can progress anymore unless I get another ultra or two. I haven't spent a dime on this game and I don't plan to.

But if I want those ultra's then I think I have to enter another KOTR.

I wonder what the maintenance is that's going on.
 
Just got back on, took a look at my KOTR and noticed that I'd lost a lot of matches. Fair enough, it didn't get suspended I thought, but looking at the number of matches played it did.... Now I have some retroactive losses of matches that I already won.

Looks like all boosts you used have been taken away. Well that's bullshit.

I lost about 2 hours of progress. Fucking sucks.

I had maxed out my UR Vince, pro SR Del Rio, and pro rare Eva Marie. Now they're at 23, 25, and 14 respectively. Fuck.
