PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

Up to you mate but FYI that P4G is more than 3 GB in size! IMO best to look for a cheap copy somewheres.

Thanks for pointing that out, but the size doesn't bother me. Got a 64GB card coming from Japan and I'm trying my best to stay all digital with the Vita. Just wondering if I should buy now or just wait later until my Vita arrives and I beat P3P first.

It's not a mistake, and I'm fairly sure it was originally downloadable with a PS3 when it went up like that, but has since been corrected (as has Jean D'Arc) to be directly downloadable.

GT PSP is incompatible even if you try to transfer it with a PS3. It was added to the store along with Jeanne D'Arc. That eventually became downloadable from the store, so maybe this will too.

You guys... Which is it?

it goes on sale fairly often but honestly I don't really see any reason to not just pick it up now if you know you'll play it soon enough

Incompatible. I'm sure of it.

EDIT: So I'm seeing reports of people being able to transfer it from PS3 as recent as June. It must've been a stealth change since it was incompatible before. Anyone care on giving these a try to see if they're at least PS3 -transferable?

I know 100% for sure it'll play via PS3 transfer, just waiting on direct download confirmation.

Lol! Gain consensus!!

Ok so even though I can see it on the PSN store on my Vita I need a PS3 to transfer it?

Will finally be able to play Danganronpa! I was planning to buy a physical copy of this before the second come out luckily I waited a bit.

The original prices are listed on the blog post, the highest discount offered is 75% (Bit Trip Runner 2, Closure and Alien Spidey)

Yeah, that's true about the blog. They actually updated the PSN stores to include the original pricing, which is nice and hasn't always been the case.

Ratchet is 75% off too, but prominently listing "60% OFF, 80% OFF" is definitely misleading. Especially when some of the more interesting games like Child of Light and Transistor are barely more than 30% off with PS+.

A little disappointing but the Dark Souls 2 DLC finally showed up so I'm happy regardless.

I tried that but they reject my credit card, saying "only US residents can buy these." I used a US billing address too.

Then buy an amazon gift card, sent to your email address, redeem it on amazon then buy the PSN cards. It'll take the money off your gift card first so doesn't do an address check

I have a PS4 in the front room. It is my 'activated' system and I have PS+. My partner uses this PS4 also, but does not have PS+ (because it is my activated system, all users on said system reap PS+ benefits). This extends to multiplayer and downloaded games.

Here is where I need answers:

I currently have the Destiny PS4 bundle preordered and will use that system in a separate room (games I want, don't want to hog the tv). I want to play Destiny alongside my partner - is it possible for myself (using Destiny system) + him to use the main (activated system) and reap the multiplayer PS+ benefits, and play together using one PS+ subscription?

Basically, he would use the main and I would log in to the secondary system.

Answers?

Edit: We each would have a copy of Destiny.

You'll be fine. You could also have bought one digital copy of destiny and both of you play that (but I guess if you want the ghost edition then that doesn't matter) - worth remembering though for future purchases

I like how the guy in charge of the Vita PSN store used a Neptunia PP image as the header of Neptunia ReBirth.

Lol, at this point Sony's just like "fuck it, they know what we're talking about."

I was wondering when you were gonna become a full member lol

I'm torn between Neptunia Re;Birth1 and Disgaea 4. Both games look great.

I would go for Disgaea 4. It's so much fun, and the characters are actually very likeable. But that's a matter of taste, I can't see anything appealing about Neptunia.

I need a quick advice too: Luftrauser or Virtua Tennis?

Finally bought a second OLED Vita for my US-Account (I couldn't bear the thought of switching cards everytime. Btw thanks Sony for the great account managment on the Vita!).
Anyways, I mainly want to play non dubbed PS1-originals (German store only has the German dubbed MGS 1 for example).

Also, Gurumin! Finally! (what happend to totbeni btw. or did he just change his pic? I rarely look at the names but that japanese girl made a lasting impression :D)

So, what other great games are missing on the EU store that you want me to check out?

Also: Are the Mega Man Ps1 Classics any good?

I'm really digging the inFAMOUS: First Light game. I like it more than the original.

So, if anyone cares (you don't), you can find Card Games (PSOne Classics) in that disogranized, godforsaken clusterfuck of despair known as the "NA Vita Store" .

Not on "new releases", though. Better put your search skills to the test! (or get it from the web store)

Was hoping for a sale on Monster Monpiece this week.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I like how the guy in charge of the Vita PSN store used a Neptunia PP image as the header of Neptunia ReBirth.

Now they are testing out ability to discover the truth.

We are pretty happy with games coming out on PS Vita and the games that are in the pipeline. PS Vita gamers are pretty core, dedicated gamers. They seek information, so we trust them to find out about the games coming out on PS Vita.
