Also, regarding Rise.
She fits a certain famous stereotype. The one that always clings to the main character, constantly sending love waves but without success. In our westerner eyes, she looks like a slut when in reality she's everything but that. Please understand.

On thing I really hope they include is people acknowledging your social links/relationships (if they're still in) with other characters. P4G did this at one point by bringing up who you went to one of the festivals with, but having Rise dry humping you for the entire game while the waifu of your choice doesn't even flinch was really off-putting.
When you first meet Rise and she's very apathetic and tired she is the best girl, and then she completely shifts into an idol and gets really boring. There's an alternate reality where bored Rise is best girl.

In Japan it's definitely PS exclusive.
They miiiiiiiiight do a 360/Xbone release for the west ala the Persona 4 Arena games, but I doubt it.

Social Links have become a big part of the newer Persona fanbase, from what I've heard. So yea, this waifu stuff is not going away any time soon.
Every Persona thread devolves into Waifu wars. It is a know quandary.

In all seriousness yes the Persona games are fantastic. It's not all waifus.
Its a game, but who's your waifu is essentially the same as "who did you bang" in Mass Effect.
Social Links and relationships are a big part of those games.
Everyone gets mad that I banged Miranda and not Tali.
One extreme side certainly seems to consistently look down on the other, that's for sure :U
