Joker's villain month issue was the one with gorrila, no way its shit.
So bad
Joker's villain month issue was the one with gorrila, no way its shit.
Correct.
Is it socially acceptable to say EEWWWW, because I that's how it makes me feel.
They're all tentacley in their normal state though.
All those tentacles like 10 tongues at once in your mouth..........
It gets even better. The first arc is super tame compared to later stuff.OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! Thanks this thread for making me aware of Doom Patrol.
Just read the first two issues and I'm loving it! With a name like "Doom Patrol" I expected something goofy but man did I get the opposite the way Morrison works these horror elements in was just down right eerie it reminds me of the early issues of Sandman.
Is the rest of the run just as good?
TALES OF THE MARVELS: BLOCKBUSTER,
TALES OF THE MARVELS: INNER DEMONS,
TALES OF THE MARVELS: WONDER YEARS 1-2;
CODE OF HONOR 1-4,
CONSPIRACY 1-2,
RUINS 1-2
It was more in reference to your Italian Spider-Man gif in response to tentacles.
Oh I know. I was trying to bait more responses from Old Man Shin, the Space Racist.![]()

I need to read through issues 2-3 of Wicked + Divine. The hype train for that here has fallen off the tracks and I need to figure out why.

I bought Seconds. This better be good.
That art scares the shit out of me. I bought that first volume awhile ago because it was on sale on Amazon for like, I don't know, $2 or something. But that art is photo-realistic nightmare fuel.
Holy smokes! Dude is seriously talented, that art is jaw dropping :O Is the story itself something worth talking about?
One of several interviews about the book here.Legendary Comics proudly presents Annihilator, an original graphic novel odyssey from the extraordinary mind of Grant Morrison. This 6-issue series is a subversive sci-fi adventure like no other, brought to life with stunning artwork from Frazer Irving (Judge Dredd, Necronauts).
Washed-up Hollywood screenwriter Ray Spass is caught in a downward spiral of broken relationships, wild parties and self-destruction. Out of luck and out of chances, he's one failed script away from fading into obscurity. Little does he know he's about to write the story of his life.
As his imagination runs rampant, Ray must join forces with his own fictional character Max Nomax on a reality-bending race to stop the entire universe from imploding... without blowing his own mind in the process.
You talking shit about my man stjepan sejic? You wanna fight? I will cut you.
You know Stjepan is the same guy who does Sunstone.

You know Stjepan is the same guy who does Sunstone. So you get nice characters at the very least.
He is!? I downloaded the three chapters of Sunstone but haven't read them yet lol.
I note that there is supposed to be a new Grant Morrison/Frazier Irving joint out next week, and only one person mentioned it.

Maybe Legendary just sucks at promoting their books. It was originally announced almost two years ago, and then dropped off the radar until it finally got a release date a few months back.
Same time too looool

In October, Catwoman becomes a Gotham City crime boss, and new writer Genevieve Valentine says that gives the book a new mood with "pulpy" and "noir" elements, while still highlighting Selina's "dry sense of humor."
But Selina's new gig as crime boss doesn't mean there's no Catwoman in Gotham. As the cover for Catwoman #36 (above) insinuated, there's still someone wearing a cat suit come November.
But is it Selina or someone new?
I know Viewtiful has read this great write up on Frank Miller, but the rest of you should check it out as well.

I like it. But the first volume really focuses on doing A LOT of world-building. So there are multiple pages dropped here and there that are basically just info-dumps with a picture or two and walls of text. I'm definitely looking forward to volume 2, though.
Or Cheska, you could wait until November when Image/Top Cow are releasing the first trade of Sunstone. Where he redid most of the art. He got a lot better as time went on.
Improvements
Chris Nolan couldnt make this movie, but Will Ferrell could squeezing into the suit, shouting down anyone who mocks him for calling his Dodge Stratus the Batmobile.
Is it time to pick up Catwoman again?
We do appear to have similar tastes often enough, so I'm sure I'll probably have the same sentiments about it.
If it's releasing this year, maybe I'll wait. It's not like I don't have enough to keep me busy until then haha.
OMG, so excited for this! A Nocenti-less Catwoman, finally! ;_;
Is it time to pick up Catwoman again?
When is Klarion coming out and who is taking one for the team and picking it up to tell us if it's dogshit?
