For those of us who have played the first before, do you plan on playing it again on the Wii U before playing the second? I probably won't as I played through it again recently, but will sometime after finishing 2.
 
well...NDAs for Bayonetta (and Hyrule) were pretty strict...I wonder if someone is gonna have a bad time
 
It someone could grab the size, as in how much space it takes up on the Wii U, that would be grand. I'm trying to make sure the OT is as complete as can be.

I'm going to play through Bayonetta
as Samus
first. Then move to the second.

Melee was T because the E10+ rating didn't exist at the time, & Brawl was only T because of Snake. Smash 4 is E10+ as of the Shulk trailer.

Plus she would have been in the ESRB leak for sure if she was in the game due to her characteristics.

I want to play through 1 again with costumes, but I really don't know if I'll be able to resist the sirens song of 2.

If Bayonetta was in Smash, she'd have been in the ESRB leak, she'd have been too huge of a character for them not to spoil the beans there.

That said, there is still the rumor from the same place that mentions DLC characters... DLC wouldn't have to fall under the jurisdiction of the ESRB, so if you want to sneak in a more mature character/moves without damaging the rating, that'd be the place to do it (you just have to say DLC/online portions are not rated by the ESRB).

Know this is a joke, plat would never let themselves be bought out if they could avoid it, and anyone 'forced' into the acquisition would likely flee the moment their contracts are up. I could see them (as a long shot) buying the Bayonetta franchise from Sega, thereby making the series exclusive to Nintendo in the future. It would be a prime 'mature' property for them to own.

Yup, same here. I don't even think that I'm going to watch the direct. I've had my pre-order paid off for months so it's not like I need to be sold on the game...

Also count me in for team Bayonetta in smash. Even as DLC please :)

Its like some of you find it hard to believe that company cannot improve in the space of 8 years.

Even a Bayonetta 2 on 360 would be a massive improvement.

Gonna play through 2 first, then go back and play 1 and then 2 on higher difficulties.

The "Online interactions are not rated by ESRB" thing is simply meant to cover if someone you're playing with starts swearing or something. It doesn't mean online and DLC are lawless wastelands that aren't governed by the ESRB. You can't just go "Alright, here's the nude patch, but only if you buy it, wink wink."

The lighting and textures in 2 are definitely a huge leap over 1. And yes, a lot of that is because of the WiiU.
 
I was ready to try and watch this today at work on my phone but I fucking left my earrphones at home, I had them in my hands DX

Nope. Bayonetta was their first title Greenlit. Kamiya mentions it in his director commentary. Madworld just started development around the same time.

Yeah, while the CPU may not be setting world's ablaze, the graphics chip in the Wii U is a lot newer than the PS360 and thus has a few more bells and whistles (plus twice as much RAM helps too).
