if I didn't enjoy W101 will I be able to enjoy Bayonetta? I never really played these types of games such as Bayo 1 or DMC. It looks good, but feel I might not be able to get into it.

I haven't played Bayonetta but I have played games by Platinum before and I would guess that if you aren't into games like DMC or their other games, then it's going to be you trying to force yourself to like Bayonetta and that's just not the way to go.

Bayo builds off the traditional character action game (Devil May Cry)


... so if you like Devil May Cry or even God of War, then you will love Bayonetta

But if you are put off by a woman embracing her sexuality, then you may not like the character herself

Never played DMC and didn't like W101? I'm sorry but it seems it's not your type of game it seems. Only thing i can tell you, unknowing if it will help you, is that Bayo is as deep but more accessible than W101.

Bayonetta is a different universe than TW101, despite what people here say.

I am a long time platinum fan and I went from mildly disliking TW101, to outright hating it. No amount of saurs videos can convince me its not kaimyas worst game.

What's the cheapest way to get a white Wii U? I couldn't care less about that new bundle, and I'm assuming they'll have a revision out at some point, so I don't want to invest heavily in this one.

I've owned one before, too (sold to cover moving expenses), so it doesn't need to be perfect.

I just really want to play this game.

It's a very different style game. Did you play God of War at all? It's kinda like that but with a more complex combat system.

Wonderful 101 is a very different kind of game from Bayonetta. As for if you'll enjoy Bayo, I can't answer that 100%. I do hope Nintendo releases some kind of demo, but makes it an actual good demo unlike the W101's piece of shit demo.

Yeah it's definitely not the character or setting giving me doubts, that's what's intriguing me.
I just never got round to playing DmC really and have never played GoW. W101 in that sense b was the first type of game in this style I have played, and I just found it a little...I don't know, boring. Only played it for like 4 hours.

Some of the responses make it seem like t the 2 aren't so similar though. Fingers crossed for the demo.

The reveal will be that the giant toad in the game is actually Wart and that Platinum's next game for Wii U will be centered around him.

The original isn't that long if you just play through it on normal. That time sounds about right, maybe could do it faster if you're good at this kind of game.

The game has a shit ton of content and unlockables though. Also, hard mode has totally redone enemy placements and behaviour so it's great. Everything is much more aggressive which makes the game's counter-dodging mechanics even more fun.
