Well they are based off the old Rare designs, so they're pretty ugly. Paon/Retro did some justice to those characters.

At this stage I'd actually be surprised if there was one before the 3DS version's release.
I think there will definitely be another one down the road, but focused mostly on the Wii U version and the interactivity it'll have with the 3DS one.

Every six or so years, the store goes through a major renovation. It seemed like so long ago when they first renovated, and the service was much faster, or their second renovation, when they made the store a lot more family-friendly and open to newer customers. Now it's time for another change, and the night is finally here! You walk inside, and decide to take a look at what toppings there are. It's time for your favorite type of pizza - the cheese-lover's pizza, a delicious pie with every type of cheese the store offers on top. You take a look up on the board, and realize that one of your favorite types of cheeses is missing, despite having been there the last twelve years. Three other cheeses are missing as well. How could they do this, you think to yourself, seething with anger. Despite all the other new types of cheese that have been added, you simply can't enjoy this. I would rather they made sure the old cheese types stayed, instead of adding new ones.

Nonetheless, you order up a cheese-lover's pizza for yourself.
"Here you go" they say, giving you the box. "We added in a complementary bread stick for free" they add, before you go.
"WHAT?! A BREAD STICK? That ruins the entire pizza! How can I enjoy this pizza if I have this stupid bread stick added on?"
"Oh- sorry sir. We just thought it would be nice if you had a little more than-" You cut him off.
"This bread stick will ruin the pizza, how can I enjoy the other cheeses if the cheese on the bread stick is also there? They'll taste too similar! You need to stop this policy at once, or else I'll never eat here again!"
"Sir, you don't have to eat it. The other customers don't seem to mind at all."
You open up the box, and look inside. There isn't even a cheese stuffing in the crust.
"Where is my cheese stuffing? I specifically requested cheese stuffing for years, why haven't you listened to me?"
"It's simply not an option on the menu, sir."
"NOT AN OPTION?! I bet the reason the cheese crust is missing is because you used all of it putting it on the bread stick!"
"Not at all sir, we simply had some cheese left over, we thought it would be a nice treat-"
"Nice treat? How disgusting, there is simply no way to enjoy the pizza any more with the bread stick on the side. I won't eat here again!"
You storm out, leaving the pizza behind. Oh, you'll miss the pizza, and you know it. No other pizza can match what the Smash brothers offer. As you walk down the street, you notice the All-Stars pizzeria, almost completely devoid of customers save a few, eating some gross-looking slices of pizza. No, certainly no one else makes pizza like the Smash brothers.

I'm intentionally hyperbolic, it's how I post. If the specific wording really bothers you that much, then replace "unforgivable" with "incredibly disappointing." And I would much rather be loud and hyperbolic than my point to not come across to those that it should. I would certainly hope Nintendo gets the message that the stage roster is pretty bad, and we know NoA at least reads this topic. Smash Bros. comes out once a generation, and if this is the price to be paid for having two Smash Bros. at once, then it's a price I'm not okay with and would rather it be avoided in the future.

I did at SDCC. Looked fine to me, but it was harder to actually play on the OG 3DS... my hands definitely cramped. Then again, I have big hands, so...

Mega Man throw combo, possibly? Will depend on DIability and also character, I'm sure, but hey it might be something legit in the end too.

so that megaman combo that was mentioned seems to have been used to kill shiek when shiek started at 30%

Holy shit this is the first thing I'm trying when I get it. Having played Mega Man as much as I already have makes me want to try this even more!

I'm really happy about the positive impressions Mega Man has been getting from this event. It's a refreshing change from the usual "he's hard to use so he sucks" crap!

"Accidentally" tried adjusting items (they actually turned them off on the single-player machines!), but the attendant covered the screen with his hand and told me to just play. D: I didn't see any items I hadn't already before. There was room for one more on the item switch screen, but I dunno if anything goes there or not.
As for ATs, the NES Sheriff (yellow) appeared and started shooting at people while slowly rising into the air.
Didn't see any bosses except for the Demon King on the Find Mii stage.

And don't talk about shoto, there is more differences between Ryu and Ken than Fox, Falco and Wolf. I will not talk about Gouki, Sakura, Sean, Evil Ryu, Gouken, Oni ... Its like night and day.

Clones in Smash are just a way too make the roster look bigger, stop making clones, and take the time to revamp chars like Ganondorf, Toon Link, Donkey Kong... I like clones but I think there is enough veteran character who deserve a proper moveset.
