If you guys had the power to get rid of DR games in order to get a new VLR game, would you do it? Which is better in your opinion?
But yeah, the games being different. I only remember some mention that in this thread. Members were saying that DR shares more in common with AA games. I'm glad to know it's also similar to VLR in other ways.

The thing is he said PS3 isn't included to the multiplatform and yet it will be available at 4 platforms (one of which is Vita).

Absolutely not for the first question. In the year since I played the fan translation, I've become a bit of a fanboy for the series. The crazy presentation, fast pace, colorful cast of characters, contrasting tones of black comedy and genuinely discomforting bleakness, the hyper stylized art; pretty much everything about the series is made for me.
I would probably rate 999/VLR in the 8-8.5 range, but both DR games get a solid 10 from me and the 2nd one may even go in my top 10 of all time. It's already a lock for GOTY for me. I'm really happy the series is still going and I'm greatly anticipating Another Episode even if it is just a spin-off.
It's like the trials from AA but even more over the top, the setting of VLR/999 (trapped and looking for the means to get out), and the social links of Persona 4. Even with an unlikely combination like that, it still manages to remain distinct. There's really nothing else out there like Danganronpa.
You're thinking of a character in the first game, one that isn't sexualized in the slightest.

I'm playing DR1 right now and I'd say it's actually better than VLR.
VLR might have had more crazy story while DR have superior gameplay, presentation and music plus more interesting characters.

If other heroines see you carrying someone the girl you're carrying will 'cool off'. You need to get to rank 5, go near the stairs to your room, make sure the heroine is facing away from the front door of the inn and then bridal carry her into the room and onto your bed x repeat 29374297423 times.
I have just seen the closed thread about Bokosuka Girls Tatsunoko School Climax, a Senran Kagura clone with sexy girls that resemble Tasunoko characters(no screens in the thread, i have seen the Famitsu scan)... why didn't they just make a Tastunoko fighting game like Tatsunoko vs Capcom ... without the Capcom part?

I think you need to be wary of Klein as well, one of the girl's moods reset when I tried carrying her to my room. That was after I made sure no other heroines were in the inn.
You get the option to bridal carry from mood level 3, but I haven't had it been successful until mood level 5. At which point you need to do the exit room, carry, go back in room thing and she will advance to level 6 and then 7 as you walk towards the bed.
I know what I'm talking about, I spent 10s of hours maxing the friendship level with all the heroines out.
And that's why I like them. Otherwise we won't have thing like Sengoku Basara.
There is also nothing wrong with Robot Girls Z.

Is yours from Best Buy? I checked last night and they hadn't even shipped my Ghost edition last night. I also have an LE PS4 version being shipped to a friend in the Netherlands, hopefully the shipment and payment from them go through fine...I don't normally do this but I already had an LE ordered and she couldn't find one local.
Finished it over the weekend, it's 10x more replayable after the "cumulative install" thing, though there's still a few unskippable cutscenes and skipping normal ones is rather a pain (quite a few scenes require 3-5 skips). Actual gameplay is still quite fun, though Ground Zeros is head and shoulders above it. Don't really have it in me to do another run for trophies yet but I want to get the Solar Gun back at some point, plus the Bandana and Stealth Camo (I already played it 3 times at launch but this is my first time since trophy support was added, so new save file).
Also, lack of a "load" option in the menu is awful. If you continue, your kills and alerts apparently carry over, so you have to exit to the title screen to reload a save. Ground Zeros lets you restart a mission/checkpoint from the menu and PC stealth titles let you quicksave of course...it's pretty darn annoying when going for a no kills/no alerts run.
So if I am, someone who grew up with Mazinger Z and Super Robot Taisen, saying it's not, then should we agree that there is nothing wrong with it, and the only thing matters is we have different view on thing?
I watched most of Toei's super robot shows, a lot of sentai and toku in my childhood, and I don't see what's wrong with how they are making a parody/comedy based on those genre. Maybe I'm just being open minded about such things?
Not until a major price drop or a GotY version with all DLC happens. I'm not a fan of online-only games at all.

yep, Best Buy. I had no problems with TLOU, but this still hadn't shipped.
I guess I don't really mind since I'm in it for the multiplayer.
