I really hope they give Blizzard like support for Diablo 3 for this. It may take time but if they can push out significant updates to improve the game I'd be really happy. If they just dump their effort into more empty worlds for expansion packs then move onto Destiny 2 that will be disappointing. Blizzard did it right, focus on the core game and making it fun to play after feedback, and then add on content.
Ok it may not be so bad. Just entered a tower instance with a lot of peeps
I got kicked out of four sessions during the play to get to level four. Really annoying but acceptable for launch day.
I would hope the acti connection gives them access to blizzards expertise in this area

Damn. Imagine a guy like me waiting for the thing to arrive to where I live which is the Middle East, pre-ordered it from Amazon as soon as it went up online. I guess I should expect the worst but oh well, as long as the inside items are not damaged then that's good.

Surprised the servers have held up as well as they have for Destiny instead of a repeat of Diablo 3, GTAO, or SimCity.

i went into some cave in my level 3 strike. Got killed in 1 hit. Must have went into uncharted territory. And of course, my fire team member was way out somewhere else doing his own thing. Smh. Damn.

Nope, we have developers that managed to comprehend that paying for extra launch servers for an online game is worth it.
I know, which is why I found the whole thing kind of silly, but at the same time, I've never liked being looked down upon for any sort of reason. It's what pisses me off the most, to be honest.

It's a shame to see that sort've behaviour on even neogaf. I guess it should be no surprise that nerds can be arseholes too.....my last degree course was fifty percent snooty arseholes (which makes even less sense when everyone on the course has the same or similar degrees anyway).

So despite having a mad day, getting home from work and prepping for tomorrow, and currently stuck in a hotel room 100 miles from home, I managed to get to level 5 and solo everything except the strike on Earth.
Considering I was doing missions that I've already done 5+ times during the Beta, I still had a blast.
Haven't even hooked up with my buddies yet, so that's going to be great.
I will judge the story and mission structure for myself as I play, but it doesn't necessarily concern me given that this doesn't exactly fit to normal gaming conventions. Most games offer a tight narrative structure; I'm expecting this to be an introduction and the first chapter in many.
Just want to dive back in to be honest. I enjoy the gameplay at it's core, and that's enough to keep me wanting more.
I'm constantly wanting a better gun, or a better cloak, or a better...everything. What got me hooked during the Beta has worked again. I can almost forgive and overlook the flaws when I'm genuinely having fun.

you may need to renew licenses, or equip it.
Really sorry to hear about your box though, I would have killed someone if that was mine.
Speak with amazon, someone else got a messed up box and got a partial refund, you're should be bigger as that box is a disgrace.
