Also, I don't think people know this - but you can change subclasses anywhere at anytime. I just unlocked bladedancer during crucible and figured I'd give it a shot (not knowing that I'd be barebones). Got roflstomped.

You'll progress with the story until you unlock "The Crucible".
It will be a location you can travel to from orbit.

So is there a reason the post master had three frontier shells for my ghost for me (I did get the Guardian digital edition)? Also, can you keep on purchasing the emblems and special items because, just as a test, I now have 4 frontier ghost shells, 2 of the special ships, and some copies of the same emblems.

They don't have bumper jumper settings. jump and melee on the bumpers,
also the hit x to respawn in pvp is really annoying because you end up pressing it afew times over and over to jump in.
I'd love an option to have auto-spawn on.
so far they are my biggest issues. that and the message board robot telling me i have a message and the message being "go talk to that guy 10m over there>"

If it is anything like Old Russia, there are only random side quests and barely any chests etc.

So I'm pretty sure my PS4 is broken 
Just played one game of NHL 15, worked fine, then I try to pop in Destiny to try it out, just got home from work and the disc says it's "unrecognizable" the drive makes a super weird noise while trying to load up the disc as well ! UGH!!!! Finally the day I've been waiting for and my PS4 is broken. Great

I can get this game for 50 bucks on PS4 but I am still undecided. Judging from most of the impressions here this game needed more time to include a better campaign and add more variety to the grind... Also I am sure loot drops, classes, etc. are still unbalanced so it might be a good idea to wait.

I'm having big problem with sound. I have a pair of headphones with a mic and I can't change the volume of the effects/music without changing the volume of the voice chat. It's ridiculous that there's no sound options.
Are you on PS3 or PS4?

What? there lots and lots of dead ghosts in old russia alone, all unlocking more backstory. I really enjoy the games show, don't tell method of storytelling. It rewards exploration.
I LOVE exploring in this game, and am constantly rewarded with loot, glimmer and backstory.

Do you have ps plus active currently? It does not stack.
It's annoying. I love the look of the Hunter, but hate his special, at least in PvP. Leveled from 5 to 8 and knocked out a few bounties. Might try Warlock again later on, or just go back to good ol' Titan. PvP is fun though, even if I'm getting blown up by Fusion Rifles. The Shotty feels great in it.

That's awful... when did you buy it? If it was recent you can get it exchanged fairly easily. If it was an older purchase you are still under the 1 year warranty and Sony should get a new one to you. I think the turn around was 9 days for my younger brother's system.

Did you use another trial before? It might not work because of that. For example I did not have a trial with my PS4 because I used some voucher on Vita ages ago. (Total bullshit Sony)

That would be disappointing since it's built, and even populated with enemies. With them talking about going back to the living l locked doors and the bouncer ?? Baddies, they set the expectation that the was more to old Russia than accessible in the beta.

The whole game feels harder to me. I'm not sure I can solo the campaign mode.
I've played a bit on PS3. Framerate seems pretty steady. The only thing that really sticks out visually is some really blocky shadows. Otherwise, seems like a solid effort.

Nope, nothing in the past. First time having a sony console in awhile. I don't think I have gold already, or automatically got put in a trial. I'm looking at the PS4 start screen and can't tell anyway to check if I do.
Huh? Just did, with two 7's, and one dropped out at midpoint.
Thing is this game is best played with your friends all on the mic talking, play this by yourself and this game doesnt click
Loot boxes randomly pop up in loot areas are boring, and the world feels generally empty as it always did. But at least with Venus you need treasure everywhere because the environments are great. Like Guild Wars for example.

Sort of off topic but is there any way to get the light on the ps4 to be constantly blue instead of white?
imo there are a ton of bad hunters and warlocks and its impossible to be a 'bad' titan because you can always derp out a multikill coming around a corner
meanwhile, blade dancers - have a fucking plan. you're only OP when you have an escape route in mind and you need to practice the ult a bunch too in order to have your spacing down. its also a bit of a jolt to be placed in 3rd person.

He didn't seem to mention anything about the sales of the game. It's obviously multiplatform and will most likely sell more due to it being spread across 4 platforms instead of one.
I think he is referring to the actual quality of the game itself. I'm not saying this is the case for me personally as I'm only at level 6 right now as I only played last night, but judging by general reactions it doesn't seem to have met that Halo-quality barrier.
