Destiny |OT2| The Last Guardians

So how many people are supposed to be in each map in this persistent online world? I was kind of expecting something like GW2 where it's pretty common to see people while wandering most maps, but I rarely see people outside of the Tower. Alone for most missions.

So do weapon levels matter in multiplayer?

Some people clearly have an advantage with what weapons they've unlocked. That's my only problem. It may seem like shields matter too because some of my weapons don't do damage all the same way.Otherwise, great fun modes. Not doing too bad myself either on FFA.

The actual weapon numbers don't. The weapon perks do.

Anyone want to trade the PS4 digital collector's edition content (emblem & skins) for a 30 day PS+ code?

PM me if interested.

I had the same problem last night. Go to your library on your PS4, then click on Destiny and once you scroll to the bottom click on Related Items, in there you'll see the expansion, vanguard, and collectors edition pack as free downloads. Just install all of those and your good. Oh and make sure to restart the game after you do that.

Ahhh that's great! I was dreading contacting support because I'm not from the US, but I have been using the US Store for years to buy games.

Thank you for the help friend!

While I too got burned out a bit playing the Alpha/Beta content into the ground, and thus some of Destiny itself, and yes the missions are repetitive, and yes the story is very poorly done... But the core gameplay is still absolutely fantastic.

At the end of the day, fantastic gameplay carries the day.

Can't wait to unlock that bubbleshield as a Titan. Needed it so hard in the Moon strike bossbattle yesterday night. Goddamn spacewizards.

So, after boringly shooting at a boss with two other people for 20 minutes it finally dies and no one gets any loot.

This game is going to get savaged in reviews.

I thought the loot shows up in town if you don't pick it up. Or do you mean there were no drops at all?

I bought yesterday white PS4 bundle, just to be able to play Destiny the way it was meant to be played.
It was SO FUCKING worth it. EVERY PENNY.
Destiny has its flaws, but it is AMAZING SHOOTER above all other things.

Probably not the best game ever made, but i don't care. I didn't expect it to be...

Managed to hit the cap on my first day.

Offscreen pic because lol XB1

Have 6k glimmer, gonna buy a new ship and then farm some Crucible marks for that Dead Orbit gear/emblem.

Edit: Also, I can confirm that saving up gear to decode is pointless. I just redeemed some rare ones that I earned back at level 17-19, and they didn't give me lvl 20 gear.

Going for that too, love me some defense and support.

Titan feels pretty versatile. You can either go for the aggressive attacker/melee type class or take on a more supportive and defensive role and keep them weak Warlocks and Hunters alive lol. Plus, deploying a shield looks cool as fuck.

Some of these basic enemies have so much health it's like Bungie is aggressively making the game un-fun.

Bungie, listen. In games like this you shoot stuff and it dies. Sometimes things are tough. No one wants to play a game where you shoot a single thing for 5 fucking minutes hoping it dies while its shields replenish.

What the fuck. I went from loving this game to hating the fact I spent $60 in a few hours.

Depends on your level and what you're doing. Solo I'm 1shotting normal story mission stuff, but Strike stuff of the same level can kick my ass.

Only lvl 11 here but i gotta ask, is every boss in this game a bullet sponge that spawns mobs every x seconds?

So far that's what it seems like

Beat the campaign as of 1:13 AM (Central). Twas awesome. The gameplay all around is completely solid- I'll definitely be coming back to Destiny for a long time to come. My only disappointment is the story. I don't feel it was presented very well at all. And so much went unexplained even in the main plot let alone the details. I feel very unfulfilled in the story department.

Is it better to do PVP at higher levels where you have more abilities and upgraded weapons? I mean, getting better reloads and faster grenade and super recharges has to count for something, right?

Yep. I want to level up bladedancer and start using that in PvP before people learn to play against it.

Level 20, working on gear upgrades.

Story was stellar shit, I mean who the fuck wrote the story needs to get fired, it's absolute crap. But gameplay is what will hold this game and not story. I mean the cabal are fun as hell to fight once you get to mars and absolutely unforgiving.

Also getting the set items out of strikes is going to take awhile, been doing dust palace constantly since level cap and haven't got a single piece, ten runs and nothing is RNG unlucky.

This game is way harder than the beta and I'm happy for it. Our fire team must have been wiped some six times before we made it through the first strike mission - though our group was two level 5s and a level 11 - made things interesting.

There is no story whatsoever as far as I can tell - light good, darkness bad, kill everything and empty their wallets, but that's fine I guess. Bungie just doesn't seem to have it in them to tell a story.

Is it just me, or are shotguns even more overpowered than they were in the beta?

Not that I can see. But hand cannons are ridiculously strong now though. It's my weapon of choice in PvP and PvE. Their precision shot damage is ridiculous. Sure you have more chances of making a mistake and screwing yourself over with the amount of bullets you get, but if you can aim at an enemy and it's 1 v 1 you are guanrateed to win usually. But when you screw up it sucks. I've gotten killed so many times by having to reload while the enemy has plenty of bullets.

Also the sniper rifle with fire damage is ridiculous against knights and wizards. I was at the moon like maybe 1 level above from the recommended mission level and I was two shotting every knight and wizard I saw.

PvP I realize I do better with shotgun. I've tried using sniper but the maps outside of 1 or 2 aren't designed for sniper.
