Maybe I am blind but I am on XboxOne I see no "Fireteam Privacy" in the roster area =/ Really dumb if somehow xbox version doesn't have a simple join block funcion PS4 has.
Yes science fantasy. You have to have some freaking form of physics in place. If you are disregarding physics completely like that then you should no longer call it a science fiction/fantasy aha

I'll try to help you out, (though have it on ps4) go to your character load out screen, hit l1 to move menus to the left, your fireteam should be defaulted to friends, click on that and change your settingsMaybe I am blind but I am on XboxOne I see no "Fireteam Privacy" in the roster area =/ Really dumb if somehow xbox version doesn't have a simple join block funcion PS4 has.

First game online with the Cydonia AR3 and I get 22 kills with it, but the team lost! Grr...
We should party up, GAF.
i'm near the end of venus in missions, level 15, done my fair share of free roam and raids or whatever they are called all with my cousin and his friend, I have mixed feelings for the game right now.
The story doesn't feel epic, it's all search here explore there defend this console while I hack for data stuff, I don't mind that but not every time please.
With how fast you level up it makes loot finding rather basic, i'm changing my gun every mission and usually use the best thing I have at the time, even playing some story missions on hard it's rather straight forward, i'm expecting the true loot search to begin when I hit level 20.
Without seeing mars, nearly every other location is ripped up rocks and grass, venus could do with more internal building gameplay, why can't we ascend an old skyscraper or something?
The tower always feels empty to me, is there not a valid reason why these towers can't support 24 users at a time? 12 seems way too low and boring.
It's not the PSO replacement I hoped it would be, sadly.
The Traveler opened up and swallowed Jupiter.
It then shat out a garden world.
Here is an ingame picture of Jupiter:

Sounds like you only played 40% of the game, cheer up buckaroo and get back out there.I just finished the story. Wow, that was boring. It feels like they took Halo and watered it down to fit their ambitions for a new franchise. I literally spent 15 hours shooting scout rifles (and sometimes auto rifles), scrounging for universal ammo clips, and holding 'X' so my ghost can do a thing to make more enemies appear. Enemies aren't fun to fight because they all take way too many bullets. There are too few chests to make exploration feel worthwhile. And I could go on and on but now I'm just bummed out.
You cannot play Strike missions without Live Gold apparently. Or join Fireteams.
I feel that the AI got better too, especially when playing at hard.
My copy arrived this morning and I've sent it straight back
FPS games for me are about interesting enemy encounters with varied and intelligent enemies/vehicles to fight against.
I've been watching Destiny and while the shooting mechanics look fine, in terms of encounters and fire fights, Bungie look like they've taken a step backwards compared to Halo. Fighting enemies looks pretty boring in this and while I appreciate that theres much more to the game than just killing enemies, the shooting mechanics and enemy encounters are the most important aspect for me in any game where shooting is the primary action.

Not at least having the ability to matchmake for story missions is one of the most baffling decisions I have ever seen.
Like, I genuinely want to hear bungies reasoning. Because I just can't wrap my head around such an omission for this type of game.
How do we get Motes of light?
A Mote of Light is an item Guardians collect by collecting experience after they've reached level 20. Motes of Light can be traded in to the Speaker for Legendary-level armor.
Any autorifle with good stability, rate of fire, and range will do well in Crucible. So it's still as OP as it was in the beta?
To each his own, but the shooting mechanics and enemy encounters are what I like best about the game.

Tower is actually 16 people.

The shooting mechanics are great. The actual enemy encounters...well...
It just feels a little bare, I miss PSO lobbies with people zooming around on photon sofas![]()

Man, this thread slowed down damn quick![]()
How do we get Motes of light?
There you go.
Dear Bungie, I personally hate enemies that are aware of how much shield they have, and somehow are omniscient in where to hide outside of your POV
I love the enemy AI in this game. It's fantastic how, no matter the size of the enemy, if you're kicking their ass they'll run away/hide to recover (or cower).
The enemy encounters may not be the greatest but I do love it when they react in a realistic way instead of just running toward you.
Just was in a multiplayer game, and someone at level 14 got one of them Motes of Light.
Despite all the negativity I'm reading, I can't wait to get the game (in about a week and a half, when I get paid). Loved the beta.
