Gametrailers first impressions with huber, boss man, and bj . Seem mostly positive. Boss man raging about crucible though. Lol

Control is definitely rage inducing if playing with randoms. Especially with how there is no chat. After I get my five I'm done.

I wonder if part of the problem is that TDM is gated for a while in multi. You probably get a lot of first time Crucible players that would rather shoot-shoot than play an objective mode playing Control for a while.

I must have the worst luck with public events. I've only had one occur and it was the spider tank but there was only two of us so we couldn't do it. Now there is at least 5 of us at this place running around for the past 5 minutes hoping it would happen and nothing. Ugh.

Yeah PvP seems like a real afterthought. What a shame..

I don't think it's as much an after thought as it is just the PvE being the main meat of the game. I just really don't like how they do PvP in the game. The seemingly shit tick rate is one of the reasons. Plus I think it's really funny how in a 'competitive' game mode that should mainly be skill based (lolfuckautoaim) that everyone gets one hit kill abilities.

Considering they are giving EXP boosts (360 version) for doing it, I dont see why they dont try at least, lol.

The Free for All is terrible right now as well on 360. I dont know if it chooses a player as a host or if its a central server we all go to, but Im seeing people going through walls and stuff and seeing some definite hit detection issues.

I need to be getting to bed since I have to be at work at 6:00am but keep telling myself just one more mission!

Gonna run the moon strike for tonight's finale.

So much fun

so does anyone actually use a mic on PSN? Christ, I love my PS4, but for me it feels like the PS3 all over again. Nobody talks online. Doesn't make for a very social experience. My first control match I was literally the only one with a mic plugged in.

So what gear is better for preparing for the raid? Crucible purple gear? Vanguard purple gear? One of the 3 factions purple gear? If I had to guess I would think they would all be close stat wise.

is Sydonia-AR3 still godly like beta or should I get a scout rifle/pule rifle/hand canon for the reward?

Everything is reasonable, but Cydonia and Shingen are what I do best with in pvp so far though. I can do about as well with a handcannon with more effort though.

You can only voice chat with people in your fire team apparently.

I can understand it working like that in the crucible, less so outside of it.

Played it basically for 8 hours. 3-4 of which was Co-Op.

Let me start by saying, I am not a fan of FPS, mainly because of motion sickness and lack of talent. But this is rather enjoyable...especially co-op with a friend. and it is even managable solo.

Some negatives

- Lack of meaningful loot
- The Story is super forgetable and boring.
- Bullet Spongy Enimies
- I personally hate those no respawn zones..but that is because I suck
- Missions are rather repetitive if you pay attention (go here, fight dudes, Enter darness area, Ghost does a thing, WAVES OF ENIMIES YO, Mission End

Still despite this, the game is fun and rather addictive and that's all I ask. It is "missing" something extra for flair purposes (maybe an actually interesting story or charm)

its for killing a hunter, titan, and warlock without dying. It has nothing to do with speed

It actually needs to be in quick succession via the triple kill medal. Killing them individually, spread out over time without dying won't do it. Everyone is having luck getting it by doing the titan slam on capture.

Any imbalanced classes?

I just hit level 20.

So doing vanguard stuff (mainly the strike playlist) will get you points to get new armour. This armour has light to level beyond? Is there any way to get armour with light other than that?

I just peaked at the profile and of someone high ranked on my friends list. Had all that light added armor or whatever. Lord almighty his gear was mental lol. Detailed art work on his chest armor, a crazy helmet, an assault Rifle with a crazy long barrel etc. Very excited to get the rare goods later on in the game.

A friend got one randomly from a pvp match, it was a purple with 5 motes, so I guess it's just random?

Definitely not doing any Control Crucible Bounties anymore. Tired of people sitting in corners not playing just to get their 5 games, or, better yet, treating it like team deathmatch and not even bothering to try and go for the control points, purposely ignoring them.

/rant

Sounds like most FPS mutliplayers then x( Gotta have that high KDR! I will probably try Curcible but from what I hear I think Killzone, BF4 and CS:GO will still be where I get my mutliplayer fix.

I'm trying to figure out which faction is best for a Bladedancer build. The Royal folks have armor that seems to compliment it best.

I got the achievement for killing all three by nova bombing a control point and getting a quad kill. :)

Is it just me or is an AR basically the only weapon you should use in multi? If I try pulse I can't kill anything

I switch between the Scout and Auto rifles. Depends on the mood and what map I'm playing on. I prefer the Scout Rifle on the Moon and Mars Multplayer maps.

Anyone got a hint on how to get past lvl 20? I'm not finding any good armor.

Where do you get the light stuff? I just reached rank 20 earlier but I don't know where to go from here?

Replay strikes set at higher difficulties. Two buddies of mine and I did a level 22 strike (I don't know the corresponding animal name - wasn't party lead) and I got a few pieces of armor with light. Also, running some crucible will net you some light-bearing gear. One of my friends got some legendary boots for his Warlock from the Crucible and it raised his light nearly a full level, IIRC.

why are wizards so terribly designed mechanically? might be because I play on hard but seriously, fuck these floating bullet dodgers

in fact I have yet to face off against a boss or leader-type enemy in this game that doesn't suck ass. bullet spongey bullshit with a propensity to wobble just so, so that you waste your heavy ammo in vain before cursing and dying

First things first, buy a cloak/band from any faction of your choosing so you can start gaining rep to unlock their armor/weapons.

Start farming Vanguard Eagle-Vanguard Wolf runs, they guarantee Vanguard/Blue gear with +Light points.

Are you playing solo or with others?

Oooh, gotcha. Thanks!

Huh? Wizards go down pretty easily with a heavy. Not sure why you are having difficulty with them.

Between warlock and hunter, warlock seems the most well rounded.. Sun singer for PVE and voidwalker for PVP.. Hunter seems more PVP oriented. With both main class and subclass best for PVP...

I can take out the wizards that appear in the moon strike with 3 shots from a fusion rifle that does solar damage.
