Do subclass skill trees start back from empty?

Yes. When you unlock a new subclass, you have to level it up from scratch. So, no grenades, improved jump, special melee, or super for a short while. It's best to do bounties as your first subclass, then switch to the new one before turning in the bounties so that one gets the XP.

How could I forget?! That is the best part.

I am definitely looking forward to stacking Strength and Intellect bonuses as much as possible.

Also, question -- does anyone know of the "Increased melee attack speed" bonuses stack if you have it on multiple pieces of gear? I guess that'll be something that needs testing.

Nexus is a good spot for loot Venus in general honestly for gear, shrine of oryx for glimmer, and cosmodrome for spinmetal

You go on the Nexus strike, get to the last cave where some goblins ambush you, obliterate them, pick up any loot and jump off. Darkness zone, respawns you just before the goblin group. Rinse and repeat. I got 9 blue and 1 purple engram in an hour earlier doing it. Got my hands on 4 coins with those lol.

Just had a 2 hour session with nothing to show.

What a bad feeling.

It's the bullet sponge effect. Get used to it for the strikes.

What made it worse was there was zero point to the cave. Random tough dude and no chests, new area or decent drops. A complete waste of time to even make this cave.

Do Patrol on Venus. There's an area called Ishtar Sink, which is just past the final area you visit in the first story mission (Ishtar Academy). It's a courtyard surrounded by buildings with a crashed ship in the center. Tons of Fallen and Vex spawn there, you'll get a lot of drops off them. Someone posted a video of it yesterday, but I'm on mobile now and can't really search for it. I tried it yesterday for about 30 minutes and got a bunch of greens, and maybe 5 blues and a purple.

Yes, I was also pretty surprised, I had so much glimmer, went to the crypt arch to give him those house banners and I could not trade them in because I hit the cap for glimmer lol.
Good thing I could them put into good use for the exotic quest and bought 50 green ammo rounds for the shotgun.

I'd stay as Gunslinger, do some bounties, and right before you turn them in switch over to Bladedancer. Then the EXP will go towards Bladedancer. Once you unlock the super and the jump you should be all good to play it in the game.

You could buy a new ship, sparrow, or emblem if you want to spend around 2,000 glimmer.

Just got stuck on the strike mission on the moon with a buddy. By teen levels, do I need to start buying up gear to keep up?

Welp another few hours farming and got 4 more coins. Much better then last time when I had more drops but only 2 coins. I also got the knowledge that not even the specialty slot is safe from legendary engrams giving you another class's loot.

Anyone for a weekly strike? Don't want to go back to farming and only need 2 more coins for helm. Playing on ps4 as I'm sure that maters.

Isn't that the truth. I grinded for two straight days and ended up with nothing.

That's how they are extending the games life. There isn't so much content, so gotta make everything random chance because if you reward time or skill people would finish in a week it seems. Already seeing 20+ levels everywhere and it isn't even a week
