Destiny |OT2| The Last Guardians

Any ideas on where I need to go/what I need to do here? I did find a dead ghost in the shattered coast but I don't think it was the right one. Nothing triggered afterward.

I've been disappointed do far. Usually no one around to join in and if they are they don't do anything they just keep doing whatever.

Never join my public fireteam either.

Only event I beat a couple of level 24s showed up and beat it in 30 seconds.

Just finished the Moon segment and moved on to Venus.

That was just beyond bad, every mission is the exact same trite of "get somewhere, survive 3 waves".

The story is garbage, the missions have zero variety, I've been fighting the same enemy for like 10 hours now. The more I'm playing, the less I am enoying it. I don't know what the hell they were thinking, I seriously don't understand anything that's going on anymore. Ancient swords, random shards. The missions almost feel like there's an RNG objective or something. None of it makes sense.

Yes. When you unlock a new subclass, you have to level it up from scratch. So, no grenades, improved jump, special melee, or super for a short while. It's best to do bounties as your first subclass, then switch to the new one before turning in the bounties so that one gets the XP.

Is there an option anywhere to have people show up in my games? I think I changed something by mistake last time I played and the game world is empty of all the other random people that were in the combat areas and The Tower. I'm worried it might be something else because when I try multiplayer stuff it just keeps looking for people and never finding anyone. :( I'm playing on Live on Xbox One if that makes any difference.

Same here. I'm enjoying the hell out of this game but after a few bounties and a little PvP, the story missions are now trivial even on hard.
 
I have a question about the nexus farming method. Does difficulty matter? Should I be trying to get my group into a 24 level vangaurd nexus for better drops? or are the drops the same no matter what difficulty the enemies are.

Someone told me the drops depend on your rank and someone else told me the drops depend on the mission level :(

I think the drops depend solely on the lvl of the guardians

i've been doing every mission and strike on hardest difficulty and just waiting for enemies to respawn and basically just killing tons. a lot of crucible too.

btw i keep getting disconnected now and "getting error code: bee" this wasn't a problem until about 2 hours ago. its annoying.
 
I hit Rank 2 with New Monarchy so I finally was able to buy one of their Legendary Chest Armors.

Now to farm for Spirit Bloom until I can upgrade my defenses enough to hit Level 26!
 
How is the loot and such in this game?

I am a loot whore so love games like Borderlands, diablo and also like stuff like CS GO with its weapon skins and stuff.
