Is the nexus farming that better than the spot on Venus where vex and fallen spawn on either side of you repeatedly? You fly right there on your sparrow and I've done it twice for 15-20 min.and got 1 legendary and 3-6 blue engrams each time.

Well, Bounties tend to get cleared quicker if playing well (headshots, streaks, etc).

Bounties are the only reason I even bother with PvP anymore. Everytime I play it it's like a countdown to see how long I can play it before I go "Fuck this bullshit" and I play PvE or something better like CS:GO

Problem is that I thought I could just do strikes and PvE bounties and get good equip drops, while still enjoying the game The drops clearly didn't happen because I spent half a day doing PvE with Strikes and everyting at level 20+ and I got jack shit with the only useful stuff being motes of light and strange coins. Crucible actually HAS ALL THE GOOD DROPS... AND IT'S EVEN MORE RANDOM THAN PVE.

There is that. But the rep grind takes so damn long, what with the cap and all. Have they explained the reasoning behind that? Typically the only reason to place a cap on currencies is to avoid flooding the user economy with them, but there isn't a user economy in Destiny, so I'm struggling to see why they'd bother.

A little more powerful and a little more range. And later upgrades buff damage from behind or allow for invisibility after landing it.

But the enjoyment IS the loot for me. I have so many qualms about the game but it still has its hooks into because because I like working towards better loot and equips. Except there is no work towards better loot and equips. It's just play game, maybe you'll get a good item drop. Maybe I'll get better armour equips and finally get beyond level 21 light eventually.

Agreed. You should probably get on using them up now to increase your rank and improve the chances of actually getting a legendary item from a legendary engram. If you pick up a legendary it prioritizes over rares so it makes you open all of them first, decreasing your overall chance of actually getting what you want from it in the long run. Plus level 20 rares will come easy anyway once you hit the soft cap.

I got to select between 3 different bounties that apparently either give an exotic hand cannon, pulse rifle, or automatic shotgun.

Actually, I don't think I've seen a level 20 item yet; for some reason, all my stuff is decrypting in the 17-19 range.
