Not sure what people expect.

Its going to be a slightly larger strike mission. I sincerely doubt there will be game shattering differences applied to a small subset of the game.

I have it yeah, but it's a random exotic bounty reward so... you have to get lucky enough to get one, then get lucky enough to have it offered (the bounty reward offers you a choice of three different exotic bounties, random as far as I know)

I think I figured out my biggest problem with this game so far, too much of it feels like sitting in one spot defending shit from waves of spawning enemies. At least in Halo it felt like I was constantly pushing towards an objective, making physical progress. In Destiny I just run in circles fighting the same enemies in the same locations over and over until I'm a high enough level to do it on a different planet.

Shit, this game is getting me hyped for the Master Chief Collection.

What was the description? I'll be thankful for getting any Exotic Bounty but anything to steer me in the right direction would be brilliant.
 
It's frustrating that the game went from fun grinding to random rolling. Maybe another night luck will before upon me better items.

The Thorn bounty is 'A Light in the Dark', you can find all the steps for that and other bounties on reddit/wiki/youtube/etc
 
Anyone want to try the raid on XB1 real quick? My buddy and I are 24 and 25, so under leveled, but we wanted to just check it out. Message me! GT = kittens dx.

Seems like
if enemies get too close to either of those pillars they "sacrifice" themselves and too many = wipe? But I saw some Vex spawn right on top of the pillars so I'm not sure, that can't be fair if so...

Pretty cool to see actual mechanics though, what I'd give for some of those in the Strikes...

An ode to the Cryptarch, to the tune of Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

I grabbed an engram and the cyptarch came near
It was lovely and purple and shined like a mirror.
If anything I could say that this engram was rare.
And he said 'I'll decrpyt it - don't worry I'm fair'

I waited, bated breath for about 7 or 8
and I yelled to the cryptarch 'It had better be great'
I looked at my gear, it was finally there
a shitty green gauntlet, thats it, I don't care
 
Of all the terrible design choices in this game the unbalance in pvp has got to be one of the worst. They have iron banner for making gear count so why not just make everyone even in the standard pvp. Absolutely stupid.
 
Jumped into the raid alone just to see. Actually not that bad. Enemies were starting at 26-28 and I was able to take a couple out. Sad its not a new location though.
 
I appreciate people spoiler tagging VoG stuff! I can't wait to discover it on my own.
 
How are the mechanics different?
