They stopped doing the blog posts. We kind of just wait around until the store updates and post about it in here.

Edit: nope. They stopped doing the Monday blog posts with the sales in it. The Tuesday posts also are less informative then they used to be, but show up around 2pm PST.

I third this. Good adaptation to 2.5D, good voice acting, a neat little anime as an unlockable, and a mode where you can play as Vile to add replayability. Plus it's Mega Man X for pete's sake.

Fear Effect games are dirt cheap right now, always been curious about them, are they worth my time?

They're an acquired taste, but for that price you can't go wrong. The second game is great, but the first one is a classic in my mind. It's got this genuinely eerie ambiance about it that no other game has replicated. Not a scary game so much, just very creepy despite (or maybe because of) the cartoonish art style.

Just be prepared for some trial and error gameplay. Both of them can be very trying at times.

Pretty sure they don't hold the rights to all of the characters. They would need to license some of the roster from Arika, which makes it a legal pain in the ass to put it out.

edit: wait, i dont see Fear Effect on the NA PSN store. Is it not available in NA?

It's held back cuz of Arika, unless they can come to an agreement, you won't see it on PSN.
...but hey they got X4 and X5, who knows...
