Got both, PS4 day one. But I don't only buy japanese games, I also buy lots of indie stuff and the occasional
Didn't Sony release numbers near launch that around half of PS4 owners also had a Vita?
Don't have a dreamcast sorry but I can play PSO2 on my PC.
i would love to be able to try out PSO2 but Sega hates me because I'm american!
Does anyone here play PSO2 vita? Wondering if it's any good.
though at this point, I don't think it could replace PSO1 for me.

Atleast you didn't experienced having a game turned into almost a very P2W focused game from a localizer. Atleast now a local publisher is handling pso2 so things might get a little bit better.
I own both. You can't deny the lack of Japanese titles for the PS4 at the moment but although I mainly play Japanese games, I play Western titles here and there as well so I am not regretting the purchase.
Seems like PES2015 is pretty solid. Probably will get that one when it comes out. Just finished Muramasa DLC, now waiting for Ar noSurge.

I have both but I haven't played anything on the PS4 that's worth writing about outside of Diablo 3. At this rate the next game I buy will be Persona 5. Or maybe Akiba's Trip if it's coming stateside on the PS4...
ahh memories. On PSP launch day, I plugged in some headphones, plopped in Darkstalkers, and just sat there listening to the menu music in awe:

then i couldn't really play it because the dpad was flat, but it plays really nice on Vita.
I do, got the PS4 at launch (my PS3 died a week before the PS4 announcement, so I just held up on the money and bought the shiny new thingy). I don't really think I played more than 100h on it until now, btw, but october and november shall live things up.
Vita is filling my japanese games need for now, too.
I'm Vita only, but not because of japanese as IDGAF about them.
I'm waiting on a price cut. Same for Wii U. I don't need a console right now as I barely got to play half of the PS3 games I have/I'm interested in

Lol. Didn't think there is someone in the exactly same situation as me. I haven't played anything on the PS4 aside of Resogun and Diablo 3. I just checked and realize most of my indie purchases are on the Vita, too.
At this rate I'm starting to give up hope of Ryu ga Gotoku Isshin localization and just import the damn thing. That traditional chinese localization news hit me pretty hard.

Thanks for the info. I would say I like the combat and non-combat parts of Persona 3+4 equally, so the recommendation makes sense. I'll put those games on the to-buy list for sure.
Be sure to post impressions in the OT! I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Ah, just got a PS4 a few weeks ago so I haven't seen many sales yet.
If next month's PS+ offerings really are two "well recieved but older indie games" I'll be quite happy if one ends up being Spelunky.

Hmmm... Kat really is the perfect ambassador for the vita, but she looks kind of off in the Soul Sacrifice Delta DLC. Kind of like some weird chick is wearing her clothes.

Vita only here, will get PS4 when the exclusives arrive next year (UC4, The Order, Bloodborne, etc). Almost got one because of Destiny but seems like I dodged a bullet there.
Damn it, just bought £40 worth of PSN credit and they won't redeem on the PS4 or the website. They both come up with want to add £20 to your account? Then I get error message E82000138.
Was on hold to PS support for 25 minutes and nothing. Will call back in the morning. I tweeted to a couple of PS accounts but nothing back yet. I don't get why they aren't going on if it says do you want to add these funds to your account!

VitaGaf, I'm in tears ç_ç yesterday my Vita fell for the first time. It was partly my fault as I left it in a "dangerous" place, and then my mother inadvertitely made it come down. Now it has two dents on top. I managed to keeping it mint for over a year... ç_ç

If it is cosmetic only, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is inevitable the thing will wear out anyway.

! Haven't really posed for a few pages, so did I miss anything?
I know that there is going to be a demo for FFXV next year (FINALLY! The game has a chance of REALLY coming out and being a real game XD!!), Maraskai Baby came out today and that some cool things might be announced tonight (as it is TGS today, right?).
Haven't been playing my Vita that much either :l; guess between getting used to coming back to college and doing a good amount of HW prevented me from playing much games.
Either way I'm happy with how this month has been for the Vita though, as this months PS+ games were amazing, the Pre-TGS event last month made me feel a hell of a lot better on the systems future and that I finally have been playing more of my backlog (Chrono Trigger is a damn good game! Love the writing and the twists in the game so far; only got to the future after time traveling again) .
Hope TGS brings us some great new Vita games and hopefully Gravity Rush 2 (if it is being showed off at TGS), will land on Vita as well as PS4.

Bought my PS4 a few months ago (wanted to do it earlier but couldn't spare the money).
Then I got a Vita 3 weeks ago, partly for Remote Play, but also for the Persona 4 / FFX / Classics / Indies stuff.
However, it's borderline criminal that PS2 classics aren't playable on the Vita, I would be lining Sony's pockets with money every month.

I think it is due to many of us cynically expecting it to happen X(. Sony has stated over and over again that they really don't care about the Vita and Shu seems to be the big reason why that is the case (as he is the head honcho in charge of WWS), so......we are expecting that to happen so when it does happen, we don't get so disappointed and upset
. Sad, but that seems to be the case X(. At least if that DOES end up happening, Team Siren will have lots of horsepower to play with to make GR2 one of the best looking and playing games ever
. The original had a great cell-shaded look that fitted beautifully with the games world, so that + PS4 hardware could be quite the amazing mixture . I think if it does end up being cross-platform (Vita and PS4), that would be in the games favor; it will be cheaper to produce due to the game having a PS3-level budget, will have two platforms to sell on, and it's cell-shaded look can easily run on Vita along with looking great on PS4 hardware.

Nope he hinted at original Gravity rush getting a ps4 port. He said nothing about GR2 AFAIK.
Oh, okay. So people expected to see the next main Dragon Quest this early? The game must have just started development when the last one came out (didn't the lastest 3DS game launch.....I think last year?), and it might be a multiplaform game (3DS, PS3, PS4...Um, Vita? (please, the system would be perfect for it
)), so they will be working on that for quite the while. Not to mention we are getting Dragon Quest Heroes sometime next year (in JP at least), so that will tied people over on DQ games for a bit.I can see FFXV being at TGS (just on the fact that they are having a demo bundled with the Type-0 Remaster early next year) in either a gameplay demo or a new trailer. KH3 also has a shot to pop up too (with either a trailer showing off some of new Disney worlds or just another gameplay prototype showing off some new mechanics like last years one with the attraction summons).
.....I don't think we can expect anything 'brand new' from Square on the PS4 side of things (at least there JP divisions) for quite some time, as they have to finish some of the projects first before leaping into the next ones (at least I HOPE they have the mind set :l).

- Tearaway PS4 could be considered a "sort of a sequel" of Tearaway Vita (50% of new content)
What does this mean?

Hmm. Well I think it would be best to wait and see what the actual announcement is before reacting. In any case Gravity Rush should get a PS4 port. I love the game and want to see it in glorious 1080. But I also want to play GR2 first on my Vita.
