Have Bungie patched the farming cave spot on earth?

I was there with two other guys last night and spawns were patchy at best

If you aren't getting the thralls to spawn, someone is too close, try backing up. The Acolytes should be spawning every 6 seconds after the third one is dead. Note the Acolytes and Thralls have to be killed in the surrounding area first to trigger the respawning.

God damn it. Finally ranked that bastard rahool up a level and got my special "purple" delivery.

Three blues. A useless level 16 helmet, a cape I already have two of, and a shotgun I already have. I still don't have a single purple.

This game feels downright belligerent sometimes. Every time something like this happens it kills my will to keep going a little more.

Rank up factions. Get guaranteed legendaries at rank 3. Buy guaranteed legendaries with marks.

Don't waste your time getting frustrated by the Dicktarch, his garbage is a bonus, the faction rep + marks is the way to gear yourself out with no bullshit rng.

Yet, you know you will keep going. Exotic and Legendary are the crack of the gaming world. You want to quit but you can't.

We all need therapy

It's an abusive relationship.

Yeah I've already been taking as many crucible bounties as possible since I like their offerings. I dont always have a lot of time to play but I'll get there eventually. Fuck the cryptarch.

Destiny |OT4| Blue Balls

Thats what it needs to be

It's perfect.

I want to level up my Thorn exotic but this weapon feel so terrible to use :(

Leveling exotic weapon also very slow.

I unlocked its special ability, I wouldn't bother honestly. My Vanguard HC is way better in PvP and better in almost all situations in PvE with 12 rounds + faster reload. Any bonus damage from the dot or (rarely) the piercing struggles to keep up with twice the ammo capacity and reload speed.

does anyone know how the Crucible part of the Exotic Pulse Rifle bounty (Toland's Legacy) works? I know it's a point system like other similar bounties, but are there negative points in this one?

I'm at the point where I skip complete mobs in Level 24 strikes if I see an arrow on my radar pointing me somewhere.

Nobody ain't got time for that ish.

Yep that's what we do. Just rush past all the enemies and get straight to the boss. Easy stuff.

Seriously. Makes strikes far easier to do. The bosses may have tons of HP and be bullet sponges, but avoiding 90% of the trash pretty much makes a strike just be that one boss fight.

The bosses cease being bullet sponges once you gear up. You can wreck 24 strike bosses with leveled gear and a few light levels on them.

I've decided Dust Palace is my favorite strike boss. Did it twice on the 24 strike playlist last night. It's challenging to juggle 3 bosses with different shields AND adds, but also not so ridiculous that you feel like you're pumping bullets into a lead wall. I feel bad for the Xbone folks who can't play it yet. It's probably the most dynamic strike fight in the game right now.

Exactly. Especially when you're all used to playing the same strikes over and over. You just know the right path to go. Its pretty sweet.

And I dont know about you guys, but my crew NEVER gets to do the Earth strike. 90% of the time we end up on the Moon or Mars.

after 2 hours of hearing "here comes the hive!" and over 1500 kills, i got enough green and blue engrams to ..... mildly upgrade a few things amd crawl from level 20.1 to 21.5, thanks to a bit more light.

the game is called destiny because your destiny is to grind nothing but it while listening to podcasts, if you want to participate :(

I actually really enjoy that strike. Fast and pretty fun.

My Warlock (which doesn't exist atm) is better decked out than my Titan! When he or she hits 20, there's going to be a lot of good armor waiting for them in the vault!

In two hours you could have pushed a faction rep towards rank 3 and guaranteed legendary, then bought more with marks.

One thing that I always hate about PVP - and maybe it's because I play with randoms - is that nearly always after I kill someone, I got shot from behind. Such an annoying cycle.

Farming isn't the way to progress. You should be playing strikes and missions on higher levels (20 or 22 for you specifically), while doing bounties and patrols/crucible to get marks and rep.

Oh man, that is nice. But now you're faced with the horrifyingly difficult choice between a based helmet and a based chestplate. WHAT DO YOU DO!?
Ha!

Thanks! Helm for Striker subclass, Chest for Defender subclass, problem solved ! :D

Do what cuphead does and get some tunes on the radio. I'm fairly enamoured with the game's soundtrack, but your own music'd be a nice accompaniment.

ha nice, that's lucky (and jelly-inducing). I wants that chestplate now and I've only just got the helm I wanted last week. It's pokemon cards all over again!

You couldve spent that two hours farming strikes and would've earned a bunch of marks and rep. It wouldve been a hell of a lot more helpful. Probably wouldve scored some decent post strike stuff too.

Or you could not do that.

Do you really think the developers intended you to sit in one place and jump off a cliff for hours to progress?

Join us in the dead orbit emo space rock faction bro.

I've noticed this somewhat. I was level 25 doing the level 24 strike killing the Archon Priest.

Homeboy got decimated with time to spare. All three of us had sniper rifles. The amount of stunlocking was ridiculous.

I'm beginning to think strikes are honestly strict gear checks.
