I had that game on my Asian account before and lost lots of hour into it. It's one of the last traditional Street Fighter games that didn't incorporate the "ink" style / new combo mechanics of SF4. Its a fast paced fighter similar to UMvC3, which I really loved so this is the real deal for me.

Ia Murasaki Baby an SCE published title? Thinking of waiting it out for a PS+ Sale or PS+ but Sony doesn't like putting their games on PS+ anymore apparently. Gotta save for Frozen Synapses then Freedom Wars then Miku 2.

Seriously though, I wanted to ask you all a question about the hypothetical Vita successor:

I think we can all agree that the likelihood of Sony releasing a Vita successor is unlikely. But let's assume Sony decides that there's still a market for dedicated, portable hardware; do you think Sony's poor Vita support would deter consumers from investing in new hardware? We're only three years into the system's life, and already Sony has called it quits (in terms of in-house developed games at least). Have Sony preemptively marred the success of future handhelds following their mishandling of the Vita?

Most consumers don't really have that long term memory you're talking about. And the Vita doesn't exist for most people, so it could be like (o, they're finally making a new Psp? Cool).

I don't know when /if I'd get it though.

Only day 2 for me, but with traveling to work I've been keeping it simple with some Apple Earpods. Love the little square case so I never get tangled wires. Been using these with my GCW-Zero before the Vita arrived.

I do have some AKG K551s I use sometimes when on Steam, but I'll check it out on the Vita sometime soon.

I've got Ridge Racer Vita and all the DLC, and it's a good game but there's just not a lot of content there (even when you buy everything). That said, it's fun enough that I've played the hell out of it (easily 50 hours) and regularly bump it back onto my memory card for a couple races - so I guess the lack of content hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it would.
 
RIP Gravity Rush 2. We hardly knew ye.

not confirmed, obviously but no mention of it in a year and no sign of it at TGS =(

I read the progression in online was broken. Like cars getting faster as you level up so you couldn't really competitively race even if you wanted unless you grinded a lot. It's it still true?

They should make the Vita successor be named New PSP 2 or something. In my first few weeks at my new work, people asked if what I was holding was a PSP, instead of a Vita. -___-

Nobody knows what a Vita is, which is a big part of why it doesn't sell.

I haven't really payed attention to the online bits, I usually just play for time trials. A friend of mine got the platinum though, so I assume it's not that broken.

Huh, I played AC/AA seriously for the same amount of time as well. Haven't touched a fighting game since vanilla P4A released though. We should play when DBFC comes out ( ･｀ヮ･´)
 
I play my Vita so hard I'm on my second 64gb card....

Also did God Eater Burst 2 get localisation confirmation (NA or Eu) while I was sleeping GAF?

Their non-core initiatives were supported like "non-core" initiatives. People realize Sony is a first party, they make devices and release the SDK so game developers can create on them. If the device is interesting and picked up by the market it tends to have more support.

Did you expect them to pull a Microsoft and turn these peripherals into their core business?

Like a traditional console? Yeah, no way. But I wouldn't be surprised if they started selling Android devices with the Playstation brand.
 
Started playing RE2 on my Vita, last time I played this game was in 1999. Struggled with the controls for a minute but now I'm having a blast. Needed some Claire in my life while I wait for Revelations 2.
 
My 64GB Vita memory card arrived while I was away on vacation. But now I can't put it in my Vita yet because I have to finish Symphony of the Night first.
 
Does anyone know if the release date for Costume Quest 2 is the 7th of October for PSN aswell? I know its the date for the pc version but havent seen anything about other platforms :/
