Bad Juju is terrible,but it's the ultimate farming weapon.
I'm legit terrible with the fusion rifle. I cringe when I get those FR bounties.
I have a void shotgun but the issue is my Crucible performance isn't consistent. Sometimes I can really rock n' roll other times I'm terrible.

Does Bungie not intend to do anything about the players exploting and abusing glitches such as the cave? This is Diablo 3 all over again.
My helmet, gloves and boots were bought with crucible/vanguard marks. My chestpiece came from last weekend's exotic engram from Xur for 23 motes of light. I've obtained some legendary chestpieces from engrams, but already have an exotic so...
Weapons have come from various sources like engrams, raid loot, exotic bounty(Thorn) and I bought Red Death last weekend.
Many people are acquiring their armor by purchasing it.
Edit: Just hit Vanguard rank 3. Got the LIGHT/BEWARE fusion rifle. I now have a legendary shotgun, fusion rifle and sniper rifle. And all three are Arc damage lol...

There's no reason to. Cave grinding isn't really that big of a deal. It's good for finding weapon parts and leveling the Cryptarch, there are better ways to acquire gear.
The cave is not a glitch. Bungie programmed monsters to spawn in that way. Bungie programmed loot to scale to your level and drop from trash mobs. I don't feel bad for people trying to fight against a slightly shitty drop system.

In the 12 days since the game came out, I managed to squeeze in around 50 hours. All my gear, save from my exotic bounty shotgun and leg engram rocket launcher, is bought with crucible marks. Yesterday I reached crucible 3, but won't be able to afford a weapon until the weekly reset...

Just farmed chests on Mars for an hour or so. Within 2 minutes I got a new ship and an hour later not too much else. A few rare engrams and Relic Iron which I need. I love the day/night cycle in this game. Makes farming the same location a little cooler, but for some reason I really enjoy just farming the same area for chests. Find it really fun. There was another player with me who would shoot at me to get my attention when he saw a chest we could grab, and I would do the same for him. Fun times.

It took Diablo 3 rebalancing the entire game and removing the auction house to fix it. And even then, people will chase guaranteed drops over random drops all the time.
Watching Angry Joe's video has opened my eyes. I have deluded myself into thinking parts of the game were fun enough to overlook these glaring flaws. I traded my PS4 back in, traded Destiny back in and feel ashamed now for ever having a second of fun with such a bad game.

You can also do this with the Temple of Crota encounter. Kill the trash, leave the yellow guys. Let them kill you. Rinse. Repeat. Enjoy your engrams.

The trick with FR in crucible is to pre-charge. Constantly have the weapon in its charge phase by holding and releasing just before it fires.
If you can get that down you'll Improve with the weapon considerably.

I know the strategy, the problem is not nailing it when it matters. When I've got my shotty, Halo strats apply. It's natural. I know how to move with it and what to expect. The FR is the manual gearshift. I can't get used to it.

I'm finding it really hard to level up the Vanguard's rep. I keep grinding away at bounties and patrols, events, trying to be efficient, but I keep getting burned on the "kill so and so on X strike on Heroic". I don't know who "so and so" is, or maybe someone else kills him and I don't get the bounty. Damn things take up spots, I then get pissed and burn them, then I'm all out of bounties for the day.
I've maxed out my marks on crucible for the week, and after one purchase I have 61 marks left, 4 short of new boots (I didn't know to max out last week).

The way you're describing it the post you quoted seems pretty accurate.

I've heard a lot worse out of the Angry Video Game Nerd or the Destiny review thread. I think you need to let it go or report it.
I would go with juju. Get them rounds loaded off an an enemy fast and quick.

Not all guns are for everyone I guess. I'm not consistent with the AR in pvp even though it's one of the easiest weapons to use (spray and pray is super effective) but I can headshot consistently with the Scout Rifle which is significantly harder.
All it would take is a little focus to learn, maybe I don't want to realise the AR could net me even more kills. I gravitate toward learning the underdog weapons in most pvp games I play. I tell myself it's because I like to up my game but I think I'm just addicted to masochism...

Im in the same boat as but with crucible rep. Been playing for hours trying to level it up but some of those bounties are bs. And dont know why they cap mark for.

Don't know why everyone hates on Angry Joe. His review was accurate. Whether you find the flaws annoying, or game breaking is up to you, but they are there. He gave Bungie the benefit of the doubt and put the blame on Activision, where it most likely belongs. He spends the entire review explicitly outlining how, with a few small changes, it could be a 10/10.
I love the mechanics of the game, but shit was obviously ripped out due to either production snags or content moved to the expansions. The part where the woman gushes about getting loot obviously didn't play the same game we are playing. It's not exciting at all when it has a 10% chance of being useful.

I decided to use an auto rifle since the game refuses to give me a proper hand cannon on my level 21.
It is my first time using one and it will be hard to eventually revert back to my previous weapon of choice.
It does not really suit my hunter but I can not deny the damage and rate of fire without losing the stability.

I'm raiding the collection plate for Strange Coins. It's a Renegade action but I think I can handle the bad karma. I'm desperate.
I don't like Angry Joe because I find him obnoxious. He never says anything truly insightful or does anything I find that amusing. He also doesn't seem like a particularly nice guy with the way he presents himself on social media, but I guess that could all be part of his constructed persona. Dude could be a secret sweetheart.
He's right about a lot of Destiny's flaws, though.
I don't care about Angry Joe, I will never watch a video of his cause i will never need to.
What I do care about is some guy coming in here and trying to shill a fucking video down our throats over and over again as if we are all dumb sheeple who need to be told the true-true in some video.
The only people who should watch this video are people who are on the fence about buying destiny. Everyone who already owns it alredy made their own opinion on it.
It's just ridiculous how Angry Joe's opinion is said to be "valid" while for example my opinion is "fanboy mode".

I've been snagging the 'kill everything', 'kill this type' and i'll even do the VIP assassination missions becasue of the bonus rep.
Treasure Cave is the best way to get loot...

I found out you can max out on glimmer after trashing a whole bunch of greens from Treasure Cave. 25k limit. Sigh.
