won't get to play for a few hours, but I'm curious:

So the there are queen missions and a strike? or is it just a story mission?
if it is a strike, does it support matchmaking?

They are random story missions with new modifiers (like the epic one that gives enemies different shields). No strike and since it's story missions, no matchmaking.
 
For each queen bounty you complete and turn in you get a wrath token. Completing a queen mission while you have wrath tokens means you're gaurenteed a legendary queen item upon beating the mission.

Dismantling them gives ascendant shards! Great way to level your other legendary/exotic armour.

So you can do this as often as there are bounties? How many are there?
 
Did Queen's mission solo. It was a beetch.

Man, Sunsinger Warlock needs a buff... Bladedancer gets built-in damage resistance on top of an auto-aim OHK melee, mobility boost and better view of surroundings due to third person view, Sunsinger gets fast grenade and melee cooldowns and nothing else ( from what I can see, grenade damage is not actually increased, and neither is weapon damage ), and have to reserve a perk for negligible damage resistance...

Warlock needs a buff in general.

SOME require PvP for the people who like to do PvP.
Doing all of them does nothing, it just means you have 6 wrath tokens meaning you can do 6 queen missions and get 6 legendaries out of it. Tomorrow when missions reset we get another 6 queen bounties. This will continue for 2 weeks :)

Basically, Bungie just released content that:

A) Allows people who are not yet 20 to take extra bounties for extra XP and also rep with a faction that sells pretty decent lvl 20 blue weapons for when they reach 20.

B) Gives people around lvl 24 the ability to run missions with GUARANTEED legendaries at the end 6 times a day.

C) Gives people who already have full legendaries the ability to get 6 guaranteed legendaries a day that they can dismantle and turn into upgrade materials for their existing items.

Honestly, people are bitching about this?

This information is not presented in game anywhere that I've found. Where do they explain this at? Also, I'm 26, and I've NEVER bitched about gear. Ever.

However, I have bitched about required PvP. As I hate PvP, I will be skipping these bounties.

For all the shit the Angry Joe review got, it did a great job of summarizing the key problems with the game, of which this is one (not being able to wear the armor you want because you need to switch to different armor so you can level).

Nope. I'm terrible at PvP, so I avoid it at all costs. Doing the Thorn PvP bounty step was maddening. I'm biased because I suck at PvP, but I'm also happy to admit it. Only reason I run the daily is because I can do terribad and still get rewarded for it, ha.

yea it's one of the inherent problems i have. can't keep gear you like if you want to level up, so you gotta buy desert camo.
