what ? There are plenty of people who post about enjoying the game.
The fact that you think this a battle someone "wins" shows your immaturity on this issue, same as the people who make a big juvenile rant and leave the thread. People having different opinions does not prevent you from enjoying something.

It took me 6 years of Dynamis Xarcarbard to get my thief gloves in FFXI, all you RNG complainers are spoiled I say. It's barely been a pay period since this game came out and people literally wanna be fully stacked. I mean, there is barely any content for level 30 players anyway.

Max your marks and get to level 3 with the factions. Do the highest level strikes you can for the weekly and do the nightfall once you hit 25. And of course do the bounties. Loot will start falling in your lap and you'll be buying it like crazy.
Don't listen to me though cave lovers. I only have 10 exotics.
If there's an exploit, it's that the Queens Wrath gives guaranteed legendaries. But they didn't actually address that.

Well that's not true. You can earn marks via Vanguard or Crucible rep. I have all legendaries (Armor). All have come from Crucible or Queen. All my weapons came from RNG via Crucible.
I've never even been to the Cave of Wonders. I hate grinding. I think it's plain silly. But I understand some pve'ers love seeing shiny loots fall out of the sky so I feel for ya to some minor extent
They should've been buyable after achieving a certain rank. Maybe inflate rep gains if they wanted to use it as a bridge method.

Although I don't doubt it, Destiny is also going to ask me to pay more money for content I probably don't even want, but will be necessary to keep up with the community. I just have very little confidence in this game. I've reached level 29 and did the raid up to the boss unsuccessfully. That's probably as much as I'd get out of the game until December rolls around asking me for $20 to do content that was probably cut out of this already bare-bones game to sell back to me.

They nerfed engram drops directly following a hard wipe. No in-strike/in-mission death farm method works now.
Still decent for exp and glimmer, but that's it.
Time for people to actually play the game. Well, I guess there is always chest farming for those that hate playing.
The loot drop has been nerfed universally IIRC, which would include the Dark Beyond checkpoint farm thing, yes. The Majors were also removed as well.

Pretty sure that would be nerfed too with the whole "engram drops decrease after wipe" update.
And it's the easiest way for lv 20s to GET legendary gear, those cheaters.
The thing is, someone very well could have. Or even on exotic after 5 minutes. Or nothing after 4 hours.
The cave was there to brute force the system. Low leveled enemies drop the same level stuff as high level strike enemies, so the only thing that mattered was a rapid click of kills. The cave just had the added benefit of also being in an area where a public event pretty frequently showed up which helped for additional materials.
Oh shit, the party wipe making it so drops stop(or decrease?) do actually directly ruin that one. Didn't think about that.

They may have, or they may have not. I just honestly don't see how Bungie wouldn't have considered this particular scenario an exploit considering they took it down. I already acknowledged a while ago that it was probably more flawed execution by Bungie, but if they honestly didn't intend on it being used in that way then I just don't see how the cave could be considered an exploit and not the queens wraith thing.

Nah, it should just RNG an engram which you will have to RNG to decrypt after doing an RNG mission.

There are several caves near where all the Fallen spawn.
It's pretty random. I once found a legendary engram in a random chest on the Moon.
You'd think they'd just show a denominator?
Seeing something like 55/200 would make that known instantly.

I conflicted about the cave.. it was there so I used it.. because it was guaranteed drops. Yet... I'm level 21 and haven't even completed the story missions.. as they suck so much.
I really like patrol and strikes.. but crucible is blah.. and the missions are crap.
Honestly if they structured the missions more like Borderlands where they were just part of patrol it'd feel so much better.. but the way they did it just makes it feel like work to do missions.. not part of the overall what's going on.

I got 2 exotics and 7 legendaries out of the cave. And of course a bunch of junk. It is what it is.

You're making no sense now. It was the easiest way to get legendary gear and still is. Bungie didn't take that aspect of it out, nor did I imply that aspect of it was an exploit. Stop reaching. It's like you're going out of your way to try to be offended.
