Well, to be fair, they did actually address all those things in the release and they are being "fixed" sometime. They just shut down the candy shop first.
Sony refunded my money for this game. Thank the heavens I was able to get rid of it.
I hope Bungie updates and patches the game for yall though. Game has some serious flaws.

The problematic shotguns are the ones with range buffs, worse then the halo 1 shotgun.
Fusion rifles need a bigger kick, some of them don't aim at the sky at all when you shoot them which gives them some huige range.
Some AR's are lazer beams and need to be dropped a peg.

The specifically said they're adjusting the Crypto AND increasing rewards for Strikes. These take more time to tune properly than it does to nerf the cave. They don't want to just put in some random higher number on these systems and push it to live and end up having it break the game by rewarding too much. They have to tweak and test internally first.

Pretty much... The loot tables/design for drops is broken. If people were getting adequate rewards from the game's design, they wouldn't have to sit in front of a cave shooting the same shit all day. As it stands, nothing worse than wasting time in a strike or raid or online when you can do awesome stats wise and get absolutely nothing for your trouble.
Mine has little to no recoil and can beat ARs at medium range and shotguns at close range. Disclaimer; I suck. My KD is around .75.

Hopefully they actually do this because high level raids right now are borderline useless to me.
I find it funny when they say that a good enough reward is XP and marks for strikes, lol...

Took care of the remaining Queen missions I had on me. Those poor masks gone to waste ;_;
On the bright side, I got me another legendary sniper rifle from her, this time with the solar modifer. It really packed a wallop when I had to do the Gate Lord mission for the Queen. Sent those damn harpies flying back lol. And one shot from them took care of the transfer gates. Now if only I can get a Legendary ship from her.

ARs are head and shoulders above the rest of the primaries, that's why people are complaining. Though I agree about Fusions, looking back on my last post, I thought that guy meant Pulse rifles, which I thought was odd.
Please tell me how it would "break the game". Oh no, our players are getting equipment/guns that aren't horrible! The agony! What a tragedy! The best gear can only be obtained from the raid, what does it matter if anyone farm's inferior items?

This game is getting boring to me because I have yet to get one exotic and I am a full time senior in college so I can't just play all the time to grind. I am currently stuck at level 24. I am debating rolling a Titan just to say screw it.
How are Titans in PVP compared to Hunters? I like being able to move quickly on the battle field.

Did anyone that works there ever take a look at Everquest or WoW? Some truly fun community driven things grew organically in both of those games because people played their games in a way that wasn't envisioned.
In the grand scheme of things, the loot that was dropping in the cave wasn't going to make anyone OP since the good loot is raid loot, but it gave people something to do. My buddy and I at work were running around all morning just saying "loot cave" to each other like a couple of morons because it was fun.

I generally feel at a disadvantage vs everyone already. I actually have to shoot/aim and fill people up.
You know...as opposed to getting one shotted by other weapons at every turn.

Just got dropped on a strike mission when we had the final boss at 1/4 health. Missing out is one thing but using all my heavy weapon ammo packs for basically nothing just pisses me off

So If I dont want any of the queens weapons or armor, is there any point in doing the Queens wrath missions or bounties? I was doing it for shards but if I can't get those anymore from dismantling the gear then I don't see any reason to return.

It's not just about having the best gear in the game. If stuff starts dropping from the skies in large amounts, then people will have an excess of everything and the progression time-table is shattered.
You may not like that you have to spend time to earn rewards but that's how this game is designed to be. So you can either adjust to it or move on to a new game.

I used an auto rifle for awhile as well. Didn't find it any more or less effective than my handcannon. Unless you're talking about the ar's that have 100% fire rate and then also a stability buff, I really think they're fine. But those stability buffs need to go on the fire rate ones. Before switching to HC, my favorite ar was a shingen with a perk to increase damage but slow fire rate.
Ah, I could agree with the range buffs on shotguns. I had forgotten some had those. Fusion rifles need more than just a kick. They're literally 1 'shot' weapons in most cases. The ammo either needs to be significantly reduced, or the damage reduced. It is simply to easy to score kills back to back to back. I've seen many people run around the entire round with just fusion rifles.
Because then you just have the incessant grind....seems obvious. What are they protecting, the in-game economy? There's no trading.

Or just get one with super low charge time and you are good to go.
