well like you said, 9 guaranteed coins per week and then you get tons of them from blue engrams which drop all the time and you get tons of them from chests on patrols.

I like to go on chest runs while doing the daily patrol bounties/daily public event so getting chests is no problem there.

Guess I've just been unlucky the last couple of weeks as I never seem to get them from chests/engrams.

Lots of motes of light but no coins.

I'm gonna have to level up my second character to to the weekly twice and guarantee myself 18 p/w. At least that puts in in my own hands.

Is the nightfall doable at level 27? I'd be overjoyed if I got 9 strange coins from one strike.

If it's for another class and I discarded it do you know what I'll be given for the Exotic?

I wouldn't discard it, just put it in your vault so whenever you make a new character you'll have an exotic waiting for them

well remember the price of the queen's chest: It was nothing. You actually gained XP, drops and a temporary legendary (as well as queen rep) from it.
I am dismantling a queen helmet later today for the exotic. No tears from me, I paid nothing for it and only gained from it instead.

How do you do the Cleansing Light bounty as a Sunsinger, it is the bounty that requires you to kill 3 enemies with the super. I have used grenades and shot well more than 3 it isn't working.

That Warlock helmet is so Ass. I think I might actually save my coins because:

1. While the Auto Rifle looks good, ARs are probably going to get nerfed hard soon so I won't bother.
2. Warlock Helmet as said before, is ass. (Doesn't give intellect)
3. I needed leg armor or Gauntlet, already have a legendary helmet.

From Joe's Angry review he plays a twitch capture of someone at the end of a high level strike lamenting he got 11 Ascendant Shards while his two companions got exotics. I understand completely why he would be frustrated at not getting an exotic while others did, especially when he didn't have one at the time, but in the grand scheme of things, 11 shards is a pretty decent drop.

From Joe's Angry review he plays a twitch capture of someone at the end of a high level strike lamenting he got 11 Ascendant Shards while his two companions got exotics. I understand completely why he would be frustrated at not getting an exotic while others did, especially when he didn't have one at the time, but in the grand scheme of things, 11 shards is a pretty decent drop.

Ascendant shards or Strange coins from the weekly nightfall- and coins/motes/shards from Legendary engrams- are better rolls than people realize. Eventually, getting "a legendary" or "an exotic" isn't really what you want, but rather the ability to upgrade and specialize, and that means shards/energy for your most beloved gear, and coins/motes to spend on guaranteed exotics that you can put to use.

I was doing the raid today.
Everyone in my group got exotics from this one chest. I only got 3 shards.

All i can say is that I wish I was better at cursing.
