The emblems the speaker sells may contain hidden buffs and these are the approximations of what we think they do after a bunch of testing and positive results. however, this could be a wild goose chase... so BUYER BEWARE

Blessing of IV Higher loot/glimmer when opening chests

Blessing of the Ancients Higher chance of drops/glimmer from majors or ultras (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Gifted Higher drop rate/cryptarch conversion chance

Blessing of the Joined Higher drop/glimmer chance when in a group (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Blessing of the Knight Higher drop/glimmer chance from Hive (w/ glimmer consumable applied for glimmer)

Edit: Right now most of this is Theory but i have tested Blessing of the Gifted myself and my drop rates definitely increased, not to mention 2 out of 10 legendary engrams have turned exotic for me. This post is more of a recruitment. I need help proving these. but my friends and i have definitely tested Gifted and IV with positive results. Please post if you can confirm that you experience gains in loot/glimmer/rep/exp with any of these equipped. Thanks for your assistance in advance!

We are also trying to confirm if Headshot kills specifically give a higher loot drop chance

Edit: So, after a few comments I'd figure I need to explain my thought process behind this a bit more. Motes of Light: a rare currency that is used to purchase legendary and exotic items from select vendors, so why would emblems specifically called Blessings cost Motes vs. the rest of the vendors requiring rep lvl and glimmer? Well a blessing suggests that it could have a buff (however hidden from us) attached to it and the additional expense of motes implies that these emblems are worth more, but why would they be worth more if they didn't have some effect? Maybe it is coincidence, and we are digging to far into it maybe it is legit, but we can't be sure if we don't try in the 1st place right!? Do the other legendary emblems have effects or is it limited to just the speaker sold ones? I honestly have no clue, It is possible, but on the other side, it is a game based on a ton of randomness, it could just be coincidental. Finally, it's Bungie and they love putting hidden (almost scavenger hunts) in games in places that we would never expect. So remember, BUYER BEWARE.

Oh, I dig it. The only problem is that my friends were busy buying exotic engrams while I stayed weak but cool looking.
 
Just noticed we are in OT5, I feel this game doesn't deserve it but whatevs.

Can't wait till bungie fixes these problems, especially the loot issues but I hate how they patched in the queen shit and I hope future updates aren't so sloppy.

Ive gotten 5 exotic weapon bounties and my choices have always been among the other 5

(Thorn, bad juju, pocket infinity, invective, and super good advice)

YES! This would solve the problem of non-class items AND feeling forced to switch to higher Light armor that you don't like.

To be honest, I feel like Bungie and I are on the same page right now. A lot of my major concerns were quelled with the latest blog...decreasing auto rifle and shotgun range, increasing scout rifle damage, adding chat for matchmaking, improving loot, etc. The game is going to be very different in a few months.

For Hawkmoon, I would:

  • Dismantle all my existing exotics and legendary gear and start from scratch
  • Be reset to level 1
  • Be forced to only use Hawkmoon for 20 hours and unable to swap weapons
  • Give the Cryptarch a foot massage
  • Solo 10 Nightfall Strikes
  • Never post here again

if anyone from Bungie is reading this, create your challenge, I can't imagine what I wouldn't accept. I need it. I care about little else.

Time of decryption. It's honestly nothing like Diablo. They really screwed up in how the items are conveyed to the player.
 
Got raid gauntlets last night. Already have fully upgraded sunbreakers. Dammit. I guess if I get a void walker exotic I can use the gauntlets then.

Yeah, I skeptical about something this drastic, I would like to see for myself. Especially the chest one, that would be easy to test.

I already finished this week but I didn't get the chests... so I want to play it and help these that didn't finished.

I know how to play and can help in any task but don't ask me to explain the rules or strategies because I'm not very good at English.

I had a stash of 19 purps I decrypted a few days ago. Got mostly blues, some coins/motes/mats, 3 legendaries and Plan-C Exotic Fusion Rifle. Not horrible but I wish the armour was stuff I could use on my Hunter or Titan.

I just turn in a LOT of bounties
(Which gets super annoying with 3 exotic weapon bounties in your inventory at the same time)

Only ones ive finished are thorn and bad juju which are terrible right now

Should finish the other 3 this weekend

That Bungie post makes me feel like I should hold off on decrypting any legendaries until further notice. (Luckily or unluckily depending on how you see it I've only received two legendaries and the one I decrypted was final boss. Sounds like they are listening to the feedback.

Lunar Elegy. Yeah, two as mail rewards from PvE for something or other. One (in my inventory) from crucible.

It's nice, but screws up my scarf currently. Need Chatterwhite bad.

For now, my Regulator does me juuuust fine. It has the bonus damage on final round in mag mod... I'm not POSITIVE, but I think that a headshot with this final bullet is a OHKO in the crucible. I need to get into the habit of just spraying down to the last bullet and not reloading...
